When they first opened the chicken was 'real' lovely chunks, fantastic quality. Over the last few months the chicken has mirrored many other Chinese takeaways in the area - rubbery, wet and slimy. Pretty much inedible. It's a huge shame as everything else is lovely. They've obviously changed supplier for profit reasons and as a result the chicken is horrendous.

Oh dear. Where to start? The waiters are completely uninterested. The prices are high. The food is not tasty. £3.50 for a small pot of rice, because rice doesn't come with your main. Did you expect the szechuan beansprouts to have szechuan in it? Er, no chance. They're "szechuan" style, whatever that means. I was surprised to see my veg fried rice had veg in it and wasn't just "veg style". Very expensive and a very low quality product. Won't be going back

Takeaway was great and the food was really good. My daughter really enjoyed the Salt & Pepper Chicken. Chicken Fried Rice was also very good as were the chips. Well priced too and easy to order over the phone for collection, and great that they take card payments.

All round a tasty takeaway. Just thought I’d share the above picture of a strip of bone discovered in my chicken fried rice. If this foreign body had inadvertently entered my oral cavity a visit to the emergency department would definitely been on the cards! Please note that the intention of this review is not to be mistaken for negativity, but rather of a courteous and polite notice for future customers of this establishment

Well where do I start, This is second time I’ve ordered from here and really not impressed, use to always get from here and could never fault it. So the first time few months ago I ordered as was for us all including my little girl who is just over one and it was hour and half late and wasn’t the best understand they busy but when rang they said driver was on his way and he wasn’t, no I understand it’s a busy time but just tell me honest time instead of saying it’s on the way. But working in hospitality in the past and even when ordering food I always read it back to them and they do to us to check! Then tonight rang at half 5 put order in read order back out to them and they re read it to me said be an hour witch is not a problem, hour come no rang again and said just packing it up not a problem that was 6.35pm rang again at 7.10 pm got told as we live furthest away it would be bit longer (only Northop hall) turned up hour and half late missing fried rice and was cold, rang them to say about rice and got told didn’t order it when know I did and got told that when order again will give me free fried rice, said to the person that this is second time it’s been late won’t be ordering again and the response was ok don’t order again.

We’d come away to the Island for a short break and wanted a takeaway on our first night. On seeing all the positive reviews we ordered mixed platter for two starter, chicken cashews and Thai green curry mains, rice and salt and pepper chips. It started well, the starter platter was tasty. The mains were awful, the chicken was boiled, completely tasteless and abit chewy with an odd tasting chicken cashew sauce. The Thai chicken was the worst I’ve ever had with a runny watery mint sauce which had no coconut milk in at all, again had an odd taste and was very very spicy…the salt/pepper chips had virtually no onion/chillis in, weren’t spicy at all, just covered in Chinese 5 spice making them almost inedible. I’m afraid this was one of the worst Chinese’s that we’ve ever had.
