Great carry out , good sized portions, fast service

Went here for a takeaway dinner, decent seating in the waiting area, staff were pleasant enough but things were a bit chaotic with some of the orders leading to a couple of rather exhasperated customers. The food was mediocre to be honest, the fried rice rather bland and could have one with some light soy during frying. The curry was a little light on chicken and over-creamy but passable. Overall, it was ok, but nothing more.

Just ate the worst meal ever. Special fried rice, without the fried rice basically. Stodgy boiled rice and you could've literally counted the grains,there was so little of it. Full of vegetables,in a single carton, barely any thing else. The Peking ribs tasted nothing like it, very sharp taste of vinegar, practically no meat just fat.Basic spring rolls,no flavour, literally bland. Nothing nice about any of this food.The only positive was the lady that served is was very nice.

I am sorry to be leaving such a negative review but to do anything else would defeat the purpose of the review system. Having seen this place on my odd visits to the nearbye excellent Indian restaurant, and with the Kells Chinese closed for Chinese New Year, I decided to give it a go..... Never again, quite how the establishment managed to acquire a 3 star food hygiene rating is a complete mystery given the shocking state of the kitchen. There were open bottles of ingredients scattered everywhere and communal pots of various substances which seemed to be open season for the chef with the biggest spoon., 5 "chefs" - I use the word loosely, none of whom were wearing what I would consider appropriate kitchen attire - one guy actually looked like he should be off fishing or hunting. The food... Chicken curry and fried rice is really hard to get wrong, I can make a decent effort myself however after a really bad day i work, I felt the need to be catered for. The chicken in the curry was decent enough but that was the only thing good about it, the curry had NO heat whatsoever and no taste either, I would labour for hours to produce something so bland. The rice was gritty and again, lacked any flavour at all. The whole meal was an utter disaster and I cannot express how much a 10 mile round trip in the car was an utter waste of time and money. If you live in Galgorm and are in danger of starvation, by all means give it a go, otherwise, I would look elsewhere.

Waited 2.5hrs for delivery, and phoned to cancel, hadn't even started making the order. Ordered at 6.30pm, got a notification it was ready for delivery at 8.20pm and i phoned to cancel at 9.15pm. Ridiculous

A regular customer who is regularly let down when receiving the wrong order. I don't live close so unabld to return order when not right. Two young boys take the orders. They are more interested in their phones than customer service. To night I got prawn and mushroom and BBS instead of beef. A few weeks ago my order was wrong as well. Disappointing that no one can check orders before they are sent out. I like the food but regular errors make me wonder if it's worth it.

TAKE AWAY I had placed an order yesterday at 6.21pm for 5 portions of salted chilli chicken and chips, 2 tubs sweet & sour sauce and 2 tubs curry sauce. The meals were inedible…..we’ve been customers of yours for years and never had a bad meal. The chips were really greasy and soggy and the salted chilli was so greasy. Very disappointing but to make matters worse, when I phoned to complain I was told as it was so long since ordering there was nothing you cud do and that I should have brought the meal back for a replacement. I live 8.5 miles away(17mile trip) from ur take away. Could you expect me to travel this distance? That’s not reasonable. Also we had friends visiting and it would not have been appropriate to phone while they were with us. I phoned as soon as they left. This appalling customer service has left us questioning whether we will ever be back in Happy Villa and we will definitely not be recommending you to anyone. worst customer service ever.
