Hot Cha in Ballymena

A regular customer who is regularly let down when receiving the wrong order. I don't live close so unabld to return order when not right. Two young boys take the orders. They are more interested in their phones than customer service. To night I got prawn and mushroom and BBS instead of beef. A few weeks ago my order was wrong as well. Disappointing that no one can check orders before they are sent out. I like the food but regular errors make me wonder if it's worth it.

Ordered dinner as staying at a guest house 5 minutes away from where the Chinese is located, took 1 hour 30 minutes for it to arrive and the delivery person was extremely rude on the phone and then took extra money because on the phone my partner was being an “ass” which definitely was not true, was certainly the other way around.

Never in my years have ever received the customer service so bad as I did from this place. Rang to order 1 hour 35 minutes before I wanted to pick it up. Arrived to pick it up and it still wasn't ready even tho I was a few minutes after the time I ordered it for. Had to stand and wait for it. It finally was ready 25 minutes after the time I requested it for. After asking where it was and said I had ordered it for a certain time. The man in the shop was so cheeky when it was finally ready. If this is the way they want to treat there customers well I won't be back again for bad food that wasn't even the right stuff that was ordered.

Friends recommended it to us & we tried it, the food was very good, definitely go again if in the area

It’s always a pleasure ordering from this chinese the staff regardless of pressure they’re under always greet me with a smile and lovely meal!

Worst Chinese I was ever in had fried rice an curry sauce the egg wasn't even cooked still slimy will not b using that place again

Delivered promptly with a smile. The food was made fresh with fresh ingredients. The portion sizes are just enough and good value. All food was very tasty. Chow men was superb.

ordered a meal deal, but no where on the menu did it say it came in one dish, all my chips where saturated by the sauce and just mush by the time i got home. also i ordered sweet and sour hong kong which is battered balls and got the small cantonese balls in sauce in one tray. when i complained the guy behind counter was not interested and did not care, he had money but he fails to realise its about repeat custom to be successful . wont be back.

Food ok Good choice Saturday evenings can be very busy.It is best to telephone order in advance and sometimes you still have a long wait. Check your order before you leave as I have once got home with another customer of same surnames order and also counter staff would tend to forget your can if having a meal deal. The meal deal portion is big enough for a moderate appetite

Lovely Chinese very fast delivery service and very helpful staff, don't honestly have any faults and it's definitely worth visiting on the way through the village or just in general

On the phone was quoted 40 minutes for it to be made and delivered. An hour later I called to check where it was and was informed it was only being cooked!Waited another hour for it to arrive and it was freezing!!

Has no idea about food allergies. Can make gluten free food some nights and others he can't be bothered. Told me everything is cooked in same pan so nuts wheat etc and cooked so anyone with allergies stay away

Ordered from here on several occasions and they often give the wrong order, but I give a by ball as it is my local. However, on this occasion it was TERRIBLE. We were told our order would be delivered within 30 minutes. One hour and a half passed and no food has arrived and no phone call had been received. We decided at this point to contact the Chinese. At this point they did not seem apologetic but instead rude and abrupt, claiming we gave the wrong address?! For our home address where we have lived our whole life? Strange. Anyways, they began stating they would cook us fresh food and it would be delivered within half an hour (again) making it a total of TWO HOURS. We were hungry by this stage and just accepted the two hour wait, but to our disgust the food arrived cold. Freezing in fact. It was the same food that had been made two hours prior to the delivery. I would recommend avoiding this Chinese as they are constantly making errors, and this one was one too far. Terrible.

I came here and ordered a curry chip/rice half and half. Good portion size, reasonable price and actually tasted well. It was enough for a main meal!! Good menu range and friendly polite staff.

The food is generally pretty average but tonight we had a frustrating two hour wait for our delivery, finally got it after several phone calls!!

We ordered a Vegetable Chow Mein and vegetable Spring Rolls. All cooked perfectly and the 10 minute wait time was average.

Mejor coger una empuñadura de sí mismo o de otra manera que alguien con un poco de maneras para servir y mantenerla fuera de manera pública.

The food was ok but the service was a lot less than ok . The Chinese man was very ill mannered to customers both in person and on the phone !

A long menu with many a good options. I rang ahead and the food was waiting for me by the time I came to pick it up. Free prawn crackers always is a gem for me.

We have been using the Hot Cha weekly for about 9 month now and every meal has been excellent and portions very generous. Better than many restaurants. They will vary the menu to suit your requirements if requested.

Hi I have been using the Hot Cha for about a year now and just love the quality of tne food and the amazing service. I have recommended people who are all now regular customers. Food quality is brilliant especially the salted chilli ribs....... Well worth the visit And the staff especially Lewis are so friendly and helpful
