The best restaurants serving British food in Glasbury Powys Mid Wales

Where better to enjoy a Sunday roast than at the Roast Ox. The food is cooked to perfection , tasty and the portions plentiful. This traditional pub wraps itself around you and entices you to stay and tempt yourself with another course. The hosts, Julie and Tony are most welcoming and we will certainly return when next in the area. Thank you both for spendid food and company !

This was one of the best Inns in this area and used by many locals and tourists who all had great service and food both at lunch times and evenings. We are local and are now finding our way around other local places to eat. Try The Tram Inn Eardisley which is our choice to date. Also Black Mountain lodge at Glasbury is a good Sunday Lunch. Avoid Hay-on-Wye, all too expensive and not very exiting.

Lovely welcoming team , the food was good pub grub standard , piping hot and good portions . Decor clean and modern , would be nice to have real candles on the table rather than battery ones 😀
