The best restaurants serving British food in East Renfrewshire Glasgow and Surrounding

I took a group of volunteers, from the Barshaw Peace Garden workers for a Christmas lunch. There were 14 of us and for the size of the kitchen I was a bit concerned, they wouldn't be able to cope. However, we had nothing to fear, the service and food was excellent, the food was very tasty and portions were a good size. No complaints from any of our party, who all enjoyed the afternoon. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We are already thinking of booking a year in advance.

Shocking customer service. We had a 45 minute wait between courses and my friend had to enquire twice about it. Eventually the manager delivered food and not even a word of apology for the delay. My friend said ‘about time’ and the manager lifted two meals and replied ‘get out of my pub’. What happened to good old customer service with apologies and looking after the customer. Won’t be back!
