And so - Myself and my Wife found ourselves “out on a limb” - Christmas Day- Our two Daughters had other plans. To avoid being on our own on Christmas Day, we booked ourselves into a nearby hotel with our beloved Cindy (Cocker Spaniel). And so Christmas Day came and we arrived at the Durham Ox to a simply Fantastic Welcome - Complimentary Whiskey or Baileys. The day just got better !! Every stranger was a friend we just hadn’t met. The range and quality of drinks simply brilliant. The food “to die for” !! Jimmy - I committed to you that I would respond to the fabulous friendship and hospitality that you gave to myself and my Wife. We couldn’t wish anything other than our best wishes to you and yours. It’s not Jackie at Trumbull’s any more. Very rude women on the till, food very average would not recommend this place there are much better places in Northallerton will never go again and check what you pay for is what you get.
