Food was tasty. We got a vibe from the staff, that wasn't very welcoming. It was very "this is a local shop, for local people". Which is fair, as we are from the next town. So, we probably won't go again.

Was on way to our hotel.and saw this pub down by the canal so we stopped for a drink was a lovely little pub and so nice and chilled sat by the canal

Looks nice from the outside. Can’t tell you much more as they don’t let dogs in. Located in the middle of the sticks in 2025 and don’t allow dogs. Ridiculous.

Treated my son to breakfast before the train back to uni. What arrived on my plate info kit know but it cannot be described as Bacon ?! Didn’t even try to eat it, no meat just fat.
