We chose The Cottage in the Wood to celebrate our post elopment meal with family. From start to finish they were helpful in communication and helped to ensure the day was perfect! We had friends and family travelling from 3hrs away and despite delays to our arrival time, they were accommodating and understanding and we never felt rushed. The room was beautiful and the views absolutely stunning!! The weather was gorgeous too! The food was amazing! Every course was tasty, presented beautifully and portion size was perfect - everyone left more than satisfied! The timings between the courses was perfect too, allowing us time to chat and catchup. The service was also impeccable - we could not have asked for a better venue and we would 100% recommend this beautiful spot to anyone looking for a very special location for a celebration or treat. Went there for lunch after a walk up the Worcestershire Beacon. The new owners had only taken over two days previously so there wasn’t a full menu available. We had sausage and chips in a basket for £7.50. Generous portions, excellent sausage and chips with focaccia bread. TV with sport on but we were able to sit round the corner so it didn’t disturb us. Very friendly service. Would highly recommend!
