The Weavers received strong recommendations, which often come with inherent risks. However, I must emphasise that my experience with them was consistent with the positive feedback I had heard. The Weavers is a community pub known for its friendly atmosphere. Recently, I had the opportunity to enjoy their Sunday Lunch, which stands out as one of the best experiences I've had in Wiltshire. The food at this establishment is presented appealingly, with generous portion sizes. The flavours are outstanding, and the service is exemplary. As a result of this positive experience, there is a strong likelihood of returning; a return visit is planned for today.

Went for lunch on a Thursday after seeing special offer advertised of two courses for £16.95 weekday lunchtimes. Place was completely empty apart from one person drinking at the bar. Full menu available with offer and food and service was excellent. Had homemade Steak and Ale pie and Swedish meatballs, sticky toffee and Lemon Posset. Large portions and all homemade. Would definitely recommend and will be going back, why was the place empty, it should be heaving.

Recently moved to the village and popped in for lunch on a Wednesday lunchtime with my parents. It was a little quiet but granted it was mid week during the school holidays. Current owners making good progress on revamping the interior and gardens. Waited for food but that’s fine as it was cooked to order, fresh, well presented and tasted great. Quality ingredients with a nice thick egg with orange yolk on my ham and handmade chips more than made up for waiting. As a local I plan to return and hope this village pub continues to improve.

My husband and I went for a pub meal, I had fish and chips, my husband had a burger and chips. He enjoyed his meal, but mine wasn’t up to the usual standard. My piece of fish was very small ( the pub knocked 10% off the bill) and the chips were very dry. Maybe been cooked earlier and reheated. I did mention my disappointment to the waitress who passed comments on to the kitchen. The staff were friendly though.
