The best restaurants serving British food in Bickington and Roundswell North Devon South West

Myself and my wife live locally and fancied a lunch out….. my goodness after deciding to go to Fremington quay cafe well wow what a treat ….. the cafe was really busy weather had turned …. We had to wait a short while to get a table but it was so worth it ….. the staff were patient and amazing, coffee brilliant and food a real treat ….. portions fantastic with only down side as no room for puddings which looked out of this world …. Will be back for some soon ….. for visitors be patient as it’s worth it ….. thank you to everyone ….. worth a visit…… Big Kev

I traveled to the Cedars Inn with a friend in order to walk some of the South West Coast Path. We booked the room a while ago but we weren't sure what time we would arrive, so only booked a table to eat very last minute from the car. We checked in to a lovely room and headed to the restaurant where we were seated immediately, despite a large function in another room, a big party all dining for a celebration and also the fact that the kitchen was close to closing. Our waiter, T, couldn't have been more helpful or cheerful despite us arriving right near the end of the shift. The food was tasty and the main courses were the right size to leave room for pudding! Thanks for the great service.

New management really giving it a go to turn this pup around. Some food offerings starting up but this time we only had a drink. Kind staff new management looking to do the right thing. Been newly decorated inside. Warm and inviting and the beer good.
