Sunday smack, and boy was the Beef Baguette wonderful,served with Roast potatoes,Yorkshire pudding,Gravy and Horse radish,and to say they were super busy the service was excellent.To finish off a slice of Coffee and Walnut cake,would thoroughly recommend.5 Stars

Good welcome, but very very slow food delivery on a quiet lunchtime. When the food did arrive it was terrible, burnt, very salty and greasy. One had to be sent back, another 20 minute wait! Had to go to another establishment to eat something to take the salty taste away. At least the bar man tried to recompense with free coffee. Will not return very disappointed as came on a recommendation on our day off!

New management really giving it a go to turn this pup around. Some food offerings starting up but this time we only had a drink. Kind staff new management looking to do the right thing. Been newly decorated inside. Warm and inviting and the beer good.
