Absolutely outstanding fish and chips! Crispy yet fluffy chips cooked to perfection, beautiful fresh fish with the lightest batter. We also had pineapple fritters, which were the best we've ever tasted. We found Charlie's by chance after reading a blog recommendation as a last-minute dinner, we were so impressed we went back again on our holiday. Huge thank you to the staff for being so kind and friendly. You are really great ambassadors for Truro and your business.

I have nothing but praise for the consistent quality of food, wine and beer provided by this gorgeous pub on the edge of Truro city centre. It's an award-winning combination under the masterful stewardship of Tom Hannon. Don't leave Cornwall without paying a visit. If you're a local, you should already know just how good it is. Great staff, lovely friendly atmosphere.

Last visited this establishment in May, and yet again was not disappointed. Good food, good staff no complaints looking forward to my next visit.
