The best restaurants serving British food in Charlton Kings Cheltenham South West

Couldn’t fault this place, very friendly service. Lovely place to catch up with friends and even the dogs too(they even have a dog menu!).

Awful experience, asked for a refund for 3 nights but was told “no chance”! Tried to go through hotels.com, manager was in empathetic and unwilling to refund. Think twice before booking here…!

Have reduced my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. Still a good local with a good ale selection. Food has taken a downward turn since change of ownership a few months ago. Prices have increased, which is ok, but quality and in particular portion sizes have reduced. So value is now very average. Visited for burger night this week. Portion size has significantly reduced. Burgers are no where near as loaded as they used to be and chip portions are very meagre. The food just doesn’t seem to have the same impact it used to. Service remains good. Attention to detail has also dropped off. We were given menus that were out of date - burgers we tried to order were no longer available.

We go with my parents there regularly. They like the food, and it is easy for them to access the building and get a table. The staff are friendly and polite, there is a reasonable choice of meals at an affordable price. They always have at least one ale on the tap. Today we were served by Marty and Nikita.
