Excellent lunch and beer as usual . The specials board always has some fresh fish which compliment the standard menu . Service is friendly and efficient . Great place for lunch.

Came for late lunch with family. Told there would be a little wait as we had just come in a behind table of 12. The food portions, quality and price were excellent. The pub was packed and even though we had a little wait (completely understandable considering the big tables that had come in) we were so surprised to learn that there was only one chef in the kitchen. She did an absolutely wonderful job (we work in the trade so hats off to her!). The front of house team were equally good, keeping us informed and being so helpful. We will definitely be back. So nice to be able to go into a proper traditional forest pub with our dog!
