The best restaurants serving British food in Hill Head Fareham South East

A cosy and surprisingly large 2-story cafe with lots of outside seating for the warm weather. Parking on the streets nearby. Generously proportioned sandwiches come with a really tasty salad. One bowl of pwefect chips as a side did the three of us. Too full to have cake but they looked nice. Fully dog friendly. Staff are friendly and helpful and service was very prompt.

We have been going here for a while now but yesterday I was disappointed as there were no sandwiches on the menu. Has it changed hands or just finding things difficult at the moment

Visited the Golden Bowler a few times now. Obviously, like it here, we are always made to feel welcome. The staff are keen and enthusiastic. The menu has plenty of choice enough for everyone from an all-day breakfast to Liver or steak and much more, thank you, chef and all staff for a great experience, What more do you need other than a good pint and keen prices. It's all here, I will be visiting again soon.

This will be a fantastic new pub once it is rebuilt. Phoenix rising from the ashes.
