The best restaurants serving British food in Hazel Grove Stockport North West

We visited the Bulls head as a last minute decision and we can honestly say we are so glad we did! The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food was great. Freshly cooked and delicious. Could ask for more and we will definitely be back.

Sunday tea time 20/10/24....... Bought a large chips & mushy peas, the chips were not a large portion unless you are a burrower & they were cold. The mushy peas were not mushy & were also cold.

I've just started going back into the George and Dragon after 25 years. It has lovely staff who make you feel welcome, particularly Adam and Holly. It also has a dog menu so you can buy your best friend a meal, and it has free dog biscuits! It's a pleasure to drink in a pub that goes out of its way to make you feel welcome.Well worth a visit 👍👍

Been for a meal somewhere else for my daughter's birthday we thought we would pop in here on the way back we was sat out side in the back area my daughter needed the toilet so I got up and when I did I went flying off the step that runs threw the small beer garden yes it was highlighted yellow but I was not looking at the floor. When I was on the floor to my knowledge the landladys other half just walked straight past me twice and dint say a word noone came out to check on me and as I result I broke my ankle so thanks for all the consurn but I just find it rude !!!!!
