The best restaurants serving British food in Mid Furness South Lakeland North West

The staff at this place are so friendly and helpful. The food and baked goods was delicious and not a long wait. We was able to visit and sit inside with our dog and in summer it would be enjoyable with the outdoor seating also. Highly recommend and would visit again when in the area.

Good place for a drop off on the way to South West Cumbria. It's much bigger inside than it looks and it's nicely kept. Decent choice of beer, staff were super polite. Enjoyed it.

Open again and worth a pop in as has been closed for an age . Situated in the quiet village is spark bridge loads of off road parking

Called in with the family on a whim. I had heard that a new chef was in and had heard good reports regarding quality etc. I know the pub well and it certainly is well looked after, the fire a massive bonus, service was warm and friendly, menus pointed out to us. There was quite a range of dishes and I settled on lasagne, mum and dad had the sea bass and hubby had the venison. The food was amazing, presentation immaculate. We couldn't manage a dessert but enjoyed a gin or 2 after. Well worth a visit.

Just moved into the village and been into the pub 3 times. It's a great place. Food is lovely, atmosphere is brilliant and the hosts are so kind and welcoming. I even left my wallet on the bar and a kind customer handed it in and it was there when I called back to collect it. I'm really pleased to have this as my local and will be back frequently.
