The best restaurants serving British food in Winsford Wharton Cheshire West and Chester North West

The food at Corner chippy is decent enough, but the “cash only” policy is an absolute pain. Like many others in this day & age, I rarely carry cash now so having to go to a cash point and get cash is a big inconvenience to the customer. We all know why businesses do it…. Mr Taxman doesn’t see cash does he…. But it isn’t good for your customers.

Did the bottemless brunch. Pizza and cocktails were amazing and service was great. Brandon was brilliant and so helpful. Made the day fantastic! Will definatley be returning ☺️

Looking for somewhere local, we tried the Brighton Belle for late lunch/early tea. Booking a table was easy on the web and my request for a quiet area was accommodated. The menu is excellent and the food was piping hot and delicious. Staff and service was excellent, really friendly with the exception of the young man who served me on the bar, made no eye contact and was quite indifferent actually to the point of rudeness, which was a shame as the female staff who served us were all lovely and checked to see if everything was alright with the meal, which it was! This was the only negative of an otherwise enjoyable afternoon. I would definitely recommend and will return.

I chose the 8 item breakfast for £7, and selected my ingredients from an electronic ordering display. The food was OK, except the fried bread was over-cooked, and difficult to cut up and eat. Other items freshly cooked and tasty. Recommended.
