The best restaurants serving British food in Upton Cheshire West and Chester North West

I really don’t know how this chippy has won an award but then I realised it’s a competition that the chippy pays to enter, not voted by public. It’s awful, usually go Bunbury but tried here and the chips tasted awful, the oil they use leaves an awful taste in your mouth. Will never come here again. There are hardly any traditional chippys in Chester, that must be the only reason people go here, would have preferred to give the £30 to a homeless person and had a slice of toast.

Was in on Sunday morning had quick drink looked lovely place filling up as I was leaving people coming in for Sunday dinner which looked lovely be a good night if football is on or a Friday/Saturday night

We found this pub by accident and what an amazing find it was. There's plenty of parking space and the pub itself was spotlessly clean. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, we can't wait to return.
