The best restaurants serving British food in Garden Quarter Cheshire West and Chester North West

I've been a regular at Garden Social since it opened three years ago. From day one it has been a friendly, community space serving the best coffee in Chester, delicious brunch/lunch and cake options. The owners and the whole team are just awesome, and they play great tunes. Garden Social is kid friendly, dog friendly, solo folk friendly, LGBT+ friendly, everyone friendly, and also supports local artists, makers, musicians and comedians, in their small but impactful and well curated programme of home grown events. What you see you get. Simple no frills cafe serving simple basic food - breakfast. Pleasent staff and excellent value. no cards taken. Clean and tidy.

Popped in for a quick pint with the old man. Staff were friendly and quick to serve us despite being busy. Nice pint of Guinness and Cheshire cat. I would always recommend this pub.
