Staff were fabulous even just before closing time food was exceptionally good for the price great friendly atmosphere totally relaxing

Fui a ‘The Rakes’ con un grupo de amigos. Como de costumbre, las Wetherspoons son consistentes, ya sabes lo que estás obteniendo, la relación calidad-precio y el mismo estándar en cada lugar. Los Rakes se destacaron en esta ocasión gracias al personal (extremadamente ocupado) que todavía se tomó un tiempo para ir esa milla extra. Pequeños detalles significan mucho. Por ejemplo la licitación del bar principal (creo que se llamaba ‘Rab’ , se tomaba un tiempo para enfriar copas, dar colchonetas con las bebidas... toques que normalmente no esperas de Weatherspoons, generalmente establecimientos de gama alta. Su (y el resto del personal) optimista profesionalidad hizo una gran noche. Lo recomendaría!

My family had lunch today at the hop. Customer service was excellent, Troy served us and also cooked our lunch. Food was really good, I have to say the burger was the best I have had, really well cooked. We will definitely come again when we are in Blackpool.

Horrible horrible awful experience. Food was horrendous sausages cold and took ages to come out. Sent mine back for a refund and had chips instead. Would not reccomend. Another user reviews saying they were given an excuse the chef was busy and that’s why ordered were taking a long time. The venue replied saying this shouldn’t have been given as an excuse however that same excuse was given today. Rubbish. Food clearly isn’t greasy as they’re clearly microwaving the already cooked food and forgot to put the sausages in.

You need this Fish and Chips like a pirate needs treasure. Yo ho ho and a squirt of vinegar and all your dreams will have been answered. Hyperbole aside; best Fish and Chips I've ever had.

Cenamos aquí, ya que está a un tiro de piedra de los Jardines de Invierno, donde teníamos entradas para un espectáculo. El menú está lleno de las comidas habituales que se encuentran en cualquier pub sin nada particularmente diferente. Tenía la hamburguesa de chile que era una hamburguesa con chile con carne encima en un bap blanco, junto con patatas fritas y ensalada lateral pequeña. No estoy seguro de qué fue hecha la hamburguesa, pero ciertamente no fue carne de res, que ciertamente debería haber sido por el precio. Pensé que todo el menú era bastante caro dado el tipo de establecimiento que es. Según mi experiencia, no es un lugar que recomendaría.

Stopped for a bacon and sausage barm. I was hoping the sausage wasn't a run of the mill catering type but I was sadly disappointed. I do understand that to keep prices low some cafés have to buy cheaper produce but I'd rather pay a little more for quality food. Staff are lovely but won't be stopping again.

Beware the drinks and food at this place taste absolutely awful ! Don't waste your day going there, the service is abysmal as well !
