It was a Friday night, just got back from work tired and hungry. Decided to order online. The pizza, chicken nugget and sprite drink were just what I needed for the night. Thank you Pizza House.

Chips were very poor and mostly inedible (50 per cent)....rock hard, just bits from the bottom of the fryer. This cereal bowl shows all the poor chips, 27 grams worth. I think for the price of 2.50, need to be alot better than this. About half my meal ended up in the bin.

Was feeling really hungry, so went to the fox cover for a carvery. Upon arrival, I was met with what looked like Alton Towers from Temu. After scouring the local industrial estate for a car parking space, I finally found one in the local garden centre. if I wasn't already hungry I would have been after the marathon I had to walk back to the pub. After re-entering the carpark, I was again met with said fair ground I mentioned previously. After multiple attempts at trying to win a goldfish, my attention was brought to a fortune teller. After much debate, she came to the end conclusion that hunger was amidst. I was flabbergasted at her accuracy so asked her for the later lottery numbers! After the fortune teller, I had myself a go on the Waltzer- I forgot how this ride can be and made me terribly sick. I got off the ride and unfortunately was too ill for my carvery. I once again got my map and compass out to re-locate my car and ended up going home, with no goldfish, no lottery numbers and no dinner :(

The cafe prices are ludicrous. £3.45 for a toasted tea cake with barely any fruit in it is ridiculous as is a fiver for two cups of tea and £9 for a cooked breakfast!! The staff are not the most pleasant either. Sadly the shop and garden centre prices are way off the scale too compared to most other garden centres. Definitely would not recommend or revisit.
