A fantastic little coffee shop just by the station. The coffee is roasted by El Cafetal and the variety of beans is impressive. Consistently some of the best coffee I have had. Their cappucino is phenomenal. A small but high quality range of toasties - and I would recommend trying their empenadas which are cooked on site with a great side salsa. Highly recommend the place.

This was our local and we felt welcomed as a family until this month. Typically we went once or twice a week to get out of the house and spend time together as a family. Sadly, we were made to feel unwelcome yesterday. Our three year old moved around in the pub for approximately 90 seconds, with me supervising him and within arm's reach. A member of staff approached me and said the child couldn't do that and made a further comment about how I had dressed my child. I should say that we immediately complied with the request and then left. It was not busy in the pub at the time, and we always came for about an hour and then left. Parents and children should be welcomed in public, and it is very rare that someone is in the right to comment on how a parent chooses to rear (and especially dress) their child. To preempt a response about health and safety, ultimately it is my responsibility to ensure these for my child and I was supervising him closely, and the movement was under two minutes total. When we've gone in the past to this pub, people were interested to speak to us and our child and generally our child was quiet or doing normal toddler things like talking to us and others. Children act like children, and that's and important part of places that can build community such as local pubs. If childlike behaviour is unwelcome, please put up a sign saying "children are not welcome" and be done with it. We will be avoiding this pub from now on.
