The best restaurants serving British food in West Hampstead Camden London

The service was excellent and the food was wonderful - thank you for making us feel so welcome on our anniversary, and we can't wait to come back!

Maybe go for the cosy tables. Go even for the coffee. But don’t go for the service (it’s variable and sometimes borderline disinterested). Don’t go for the menu (it’s extremely limited). Don’t go for the prices; they are surprisingly high for what you get. I give this 3 stars because its nice to be in WH and the coffee and atmosphere are generally good. If you do go, avoid lunch/dinner. Brunch is the best bet. In short, HAM showed a lot of potential when it opened, but the overwhelming impression now is that they just don’t care that much.

Had a fantastic evening at Wet Fish. The food was lovely and our evening was made so much brighter by Harry, the fantastic waiter. Can't wait to return!

Food was lovely, and the staff were so friendly. Definitely recommend! The fish and chips were beautiful and the other people I was with recommended the Roast!
