Brilliant pub, friendly service and outstanding food, good local ales too. One of the best pubs I have been to in Norfolk.

Just got home after a lovely couple of days at the Saracens Head! We received a very warm welcome from Tim the owner on our arrival, and Robbie works the bar and restaurant with effortless ease and bon hommie is just delightful! The rooms are individually decorated, which is refreshing these days when so many places go for a generic look, and are very comfortable! Also very clean! There is everything you need, including a little jar of FRESH coffee and a cafetiere in the room which was wonderful on waking up in the morning! The beds were very comfortable and the towels in the large ensuite were beautifully fluffy, but crisp! The food is amazing, and there is a board in bar with a list of their suppliers, who are overwhelmingly local to the area! Jake the chef is very talented, and the breakfast is top notch too! There was a lovely friendly lady serving the breakfast - sadly we didn't get her name! - who just made our stay even better! The owners and their team have clearly put a lot of thought into making the stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible, making this place an absolute gem! We will definitely be returning and will be recommending the Saracens Head to our friends and family!
