The best restaurants serving British food in Ashridge Dacorum East of England

I've always rated this pub - just off the beaten track and what I consider a textbook pub. Good, simple food done well, fantastic beer and friendly staff. Accommodated a group of 14 of us with military precision and without batting an eyelid. Well worth a visit if you are in the area - you won't be disappointed.

Friday evening dinner is great here. Curry for me and scampi for the wife. Gary and his crew are so welcoming and the food was perfect. Highly recommended, we enjoyed ourselves very much.
