The best restaurants serving British food in Dunstable-Icknield Central Bedfordshire East of England

I stopped in here on the way home, with my daughter and two friends and we felt welcomed immediately… The facilities were clean and checked regularly… The service was quick and we were greeted with a friendly smile. The atmosphere was welcoming and accommodating to someone with a young child. The food was lovely and the staff are friendly, & even made me laugh. Will be stopping in again soon.

I had a really good time with my friend. We get a salad and some very delicious brownie with coffee. The restaurant is cosy and nice during the Christmas time. Also one of the staff Sarah was so lovely and very helpful. We really enjoyed our time here and really recommend.

The Gary Cooper is a modern building with an open plan interior, plenty of seating and an outlook onto Grove Park. We popped in for breakfast with family on a bleak winter Sunday morning and have to say the food wasn’t great - they’d run out of hollandaise sauce for one of the eggs Benedict meals and so had to have a substitute meal, the other was lukewarm and the other two meals were nothing special - I guess you get what you pay for.
