The best restaurants serving British food in Dodnash Babergh East of England

Great for delicious home cooked food. Fish pie exceptional, desserts devine. Staff lovely and real fire is very welcoming.

We came for a few pints and had dinner. The staff was great to get to know. The main part of this very old pub was snug and the fire was just perfect for the evening. The beer was perfect. This is not the largest pub menu but what we ordered was very good pub food. If you go to this pub you will be treated like a local with great service and wonderful conversation.

Wonderful. I put a review on Google, but for those here - you must pay Dawn and her staff a visit. The food, service, ambience is excellent and very good value for money. Plus, even if you haven't a sweet tooth, the cakes & scones are heavenly - writing this my mouth is watering 💖👍👍👍👍👍
