A sunny Friday afternoon spent on the roof terrace. £6.95 cocktails all day. Only Madri on draft which was a bit disappointing. Food was good. Staff were friendly and helpful but service can be a bit slow when it gets busy. Will definitely return when the sun shines.

Garlic garlic and more garlic!! We ordered a wild mushroom.linguini and a spaghetti carbonate. However all we could taste was garlic. Obviously the same sauce used for both! We left and just cannot get rid of the taste. So disappointing! More care is needed to improve the quality! Also the food just arrived too quickly. Finished in 45 minutes. The best part was our drinks!! Certainly would not recommend!!

Have been going to the golden bowl for years but who ever has took it over it’s not nice .Got chicken balls that looked ike chicken nuggets and the curry sauce and chips ad rice was tasteless won’t be going back
