Had a fantastic afternoon tea. Looked amazing, it was delicious particularly the carrot cake! Would highly recommend.

I popped by here at the end of my working day as I was too tired to cook so I thought I'd treat myself to dinner. When I saw the prices, I was a little wary that it would be more 'quick meal' as it is very inexpensive. I went for the plant burger and a portion of fries. Portion sizes are huge, and everything was so full of flavour! A perfect full-sized meal with gorgeous presentation. I wish I'd taken a photo - they need their food showing off! It looked great! Packaging secure and keeps it all warm too. Customer service was lovely! Can sometimes be awkward when waiting at counters, but not here - the Portuguese chef made natural conversation and we had a lovely chat. I will absolutely be back and telling everyone about it! Delighted to confirm this coffee / dessert outlet is open again, after spending most of the year with its shutters down. It's under new management, but with the same friendly faces behind the counter. Dropped in tonight for a couple of mochas, which were excellent. This is the kind of local cafe which deserves the support of its community, so let's not allow it to close down a second time.

My husband loves his burgers and he reckons the Invention burger was the best he has ever tasted. Mine BBQ burger was rather good too.

Amazing food, great service. Definitely go for the jalapeño bhajis as a side - they were insanely good. Burgers were perfect.

First of many visits to Karben! We were welcomed by the owner who twisted our arm into trying their ‘Witches Brew’ Halloween cocktail - very nice! We were seated by the river inside one of the heated pods, the owner again taking the time to show us how to work the coloured lights and Bluetooth speaker to play with at our leisure. The Sunday roast was outstanding - will definitely be returning to try more of the dishes 😋

Absolutely lovely burgers , very tasty 😋 Juicy and one of the best I've ever had . Chips are nice and we choose the ones with the season. We also bought cheesecakes They were beautifully presented Strawberry cheesecake and Nutella cheesecake they were delicious. I would recommend

Visiting Ilfracombe in June and wanted a light lunch. Thought it would be easier than parking in town as there's free carparking. What a find... The menu was refreshing.. Lovely choices and reasonably priced also the views and outside area so beautiful was a good choice. While there we checked out the evening menu and decided to call back later in the holiday. Would highly recommend a visit here day or evening. Friendly staff make you very welcome. Loved the look of the pimms cream tea. The food is really good and wonderfully presented will be definately coming back.

Immediately greeted by the barista who asked how are day was going. He patiently explained the types of coffee to us. The room upstairs is set up like a gentleman's club. It's great room and when full I imagine would have a fantastic atmosphere.

Had a takeaway Sunday dinner ordered and had it delivered within 30 minutes I had lamb and my partner had chicken was the best Sunday dinner I’ve had in a long time all homemade and the gravy was fantastic would highly recommend.
