The best restaurants in Swansea South Wales

Had a good quiet meal on the 2 mains for £12.49 menu. Good selection of beers and with the App I could use my free pint & 20% discount this week gained from the football sports predictor last weekend where I guessed a correct score on one of the scores. Plenty of free parking here, just off the main Gower Rd.

Only stopped for coffee and cake. It was busy and the food that I saw looked good. I think some of the staff were new so weren't fully up for the challenge of the busy service. Coffee was OK and the cake was a little dry. Just average

1 Pork, 1 Turkey, and 1 beef carvery pick up today. Brilliant service, and the food was delicious. Big shout out to Tina and the staff. Brilliant👏

Been 3 times in a week. Don't usually do that. I have to say this place is a great find superb curries chicken tika succulent great service will miss coming here I'm from England this is in Wales. I wish them luck and every success from Mr steve smith. See you in the future god willing

Went for the first time on a Wednesday,didnt know it was Karaoke. It was brilliant. A good laugh& lovely atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly. Will definitely go back.

Sadly, although the food is lovely, you’ll be waiting 2 hours minimum for delivery even though they say 30 minutes. Then when it arrives 9 times out of 10 the order will be incorrect and you’ll be waiting another hour for them to correct it. Useless service. If you try to complain the answer is “nothing we can do”. Unprofessional. Doesn’t surprise me after they got investigated and charged for illegal workers.

I'm afraid I must agree with one of the other reviews on here about the food. I had a dhansak, which is supposed to be hot and sweet. I thought it would be great as the texture was perfect, and it looked good. It was certainly hot, but not the slightest hint of sweetness. My daughter has a butter chicken which had a lot of food colouring (very red), but tasted of nothing but dessicated coconut. The sauce was not even particularly creamy. We also had a vegetable and lentil side dish which again had no real flavour, and I couldn't detect any lentils. It was mostly liquid, more like a plain vegetable soup. My daughter also said the rice was clumped together as though repeated. As with there other review, the portions were generous and the food was piping hot. Considering all the positive reviews, I must have just been unlucky.

After eating the Beef Wow sandwich earlier today, I am considering moving my family the four hours to Oystermouth, just so I can be closer to it. The best sandwich I've ever eaten! Well done Stuart you legend.
