This place offers it all, old school pub atmosphere, happy bar staff, quick service and the costs are peanuts in comparison to most steak and mixed grill places If you want classically simple, home cooked meals and polite conversation go to the globe

Great atmosphere, great service. Have a great bar as well. We were at the restaurant part of it. We visited this restaurant as the Moriah Church, where the Welsh revival started on 1904 was closed when we reached at 1:30 pm on Monday morning! We were asked to wait, hence we had to try a nearby restaurant. This was a good option. Friendly people, good facilities including toilets. The good was descent!

Great local pub, Food is always outstanding value, I had the Gammon, Jacket potato, peas and pineapple and was absolutely delicious, Service is always great and friendly but highly recommend food and drinks for two came to a total of £36. Sunday carvery is absolutely delicious as well. I had beef and pork last Sunday with all fresh bread. Totally delicious and great value, would highly recommend a visit.

One of the Best Public House Restaurants that i no off , The 2 meals for £13 is a MUST, Try the 10oz rump along with the 20oz Gammon,,, WoW

We had sunday lunch delivered got to say it was on time and stiil hot absolutely stunning dinner loas of veg, and meat was cooked perfectly can't fault the food from them will definitely recommend and have again well done globe

We didn't eat hence the score of 3 for food. The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was great! A classic local pub where the locals were more than happy to have a chat and get on with me visitors

Our group enjoyed our time there.

Went there 2 months ago on a rare lunch date with a very old friend on his recommendation and was not disappointed!food was awesome and the chips were home made 😊, as was the curry and both were delicious. We didn't pay until after which Impressed me as most places take your money first ,then serve you bog standard microwave cr@p and don't give a monkeys!went back Early last week for a got at the home made pie and can't wait to go back for more 😀.

A very welcoming and homely place for a Sunday roast. Beautiful carvery and a jolly atmosphere all round. Happened apon this place on the way back from a festival feeling a tad ropey, and found myself a warm welcome and a full tummy, despite the fact that my shoes were missing. Many thanks 👍

Food was terrible took ages to come an was really dry burned an over cooked an was missing to things on my order witch I only got told after I had it not before

Awful service! Would give 0 stars If I could waited 2 hours food came cold and wrong order no apology given no chips, onion rings or peas. Waiting staff were appallingly mannered. When I asked for peppercorn sauce was told none available. When complained about service only a mere £2 quid was taken off. Disgusted to the way I’ve been treated there would not recommend!

Had my father's wake here but always dropped in while living in Loughor and they did a fab job. Good spread and cheap drinks.

We pop in quite often lately, each and every time we are welcomed with friendly and efficient service. Drinks very reasonable, food is really good. Nothing is too much trouble, I'd definitely recommend.

I called to this pub today, with my son to have some food. The landlord and landlady were extremely friendly and made us feel so welcome. The steak and lasagne were outstanding. All cooked to perfection, not to mention the apple and blackcurrant crumble which was also amazing. We will be back to try the Sunday dinner next. 😀

Nice service in a traditional pub setting, all day breakfast is served - I am not sure til what time, could be all day. Food was good and well cooked and polite service too, even the sausages were good of which I am a real stickler for.. seperate salon and bar. Visit this nice friendly space for beverages, food and more.

The carvery was delicious- like proper home cooked Sunday dinner, that your mother/nan would cook, the stuffing was to die for, & lovely gravy to top it all, i would thoroughly recommend it, pn second thoughts no 😱 - there will be no room for us 😂😂 cant wait to go back, & take my mum, & rest of my family, wish i had booked for Christmas dinner 😭😭

A quaint little pub. Prices are decent and the landlord and landlady are both great! The food here is amazing, especially the Sunday carvery (which is also available for takeaway or delivery for those who can't mobile enough to get to the pub) which is large and always lovely. Many spirits are offered her and there's local brews on tap.
