The best restaurants in Pennard Swansea South Wales

Christos’ food was delicious! we had a started, main course & desert and the portion sizes were perfect, the flavours were amazing :) he also seemed like a super nice guy! Would definitely recommend 👍

We had the best lunch we had had for ages, delicious fresh local produce, cooked with real skill and creativity. We both had sea bream with a fabulous creamy sauce with cockles and leek. Very friendly service. Would strongly recommend this place!

People and staff very welcoming, clubhouse and views outstanding. Course was in lovely condition, greens are testing. Too many blind shots for my liking, but overall a great day out.

Emailed the pub requesting a table a few weeks in advance. Got a reply a week later to say they couldn't guarantee a table as but will book us in anyway. On the day the weather was on the cool side for June, & the pub on a Friday evening had hardly any customers, staff were arrogant and the meals took ages to arrive. Can't recommend and the team need to up their game.

I enjoyed my afternoon tea here, super service, clean environment. Highly recommend. The cakes and sandwiches are great value.

Two of us went there for breakfast on a Saturday. Plenty of choice on offer. Food was great, staff are friendly and helpful. We were able to take our two small dogs in which is great for us. All in all a great relaxing place to eat and drink. A note on the breakfasts: you can’t have fried eggs but if that’s your usual, it’s nice to be forced into a change now and again. Only scrambled eggs are on offer and they were fine, so it made a nice change for us. The Glamorgan sausage that we had was delicious and cooked perfectly. Smoked salmon was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.

The cafe states gluten free options. However, only option for breakfast was white breaded GF toast. There are no other options, or certainly no meaningful options offered.

Let us park our motorhome in the car park. Very friendly staff. Dog friendly. Sunday lunch good and chocolate brownie. Deffo return.
