Very good pub very friendly staff and it was the best night out I've had for a while played pool with some very good players well worth the visit and definitely will be going again

Absolutely fantastic afternoon with friends for our Christmas meal. We all ate off the Christmas menu, Lovely food so tasty very friendly staff. Lovely new restaurant area light and airy a lovely addition to a local village pub.

Very disappointed for the Second time the menu was 90% sold out We had booked in advance. There was no phone call or even a email just to let us know, it was a 20.30 booking So by the time we got there we couldn't book anything else for a special occasion as it was too late a little phone call or email would have gone a long way.

So i’m here visiting family, and we decided to have my nan’s birthday dinner here since it’s wheelchair assessable. Service was good but the food was cold for how long we waited, and i didn’t get a lot of food for what i ordered. Salad bar was bare and unappetizing so i just ate bread. Also I think the sauces might need a restock, the naga chilli hot sauce was very gross & i think expired. Kinda bummed cuz this was THE place when i still lived here. I am glad the Lemon Blizzard is back.

Stopped at the Premier Inn over the weekend and stopped in at the pub every night too for various reasons. First night we had a full meal, seated quickly, drinks orders taken and delivered quickly, the food order taken. The food came in good time, all hot and fresh, cooked the way we had requested. My wife has the steak & ale pie which was lovely, very flavourful, I had the smothered platter with steak cooked medium, which was nicely seared too. Next couple of nights, because we had large lunches we just popped in for drinks and snacks, all of the staff were polite and attentive. Last morning, popped in for breakfast, was seated immediately, offered the continental buffet while we make up our minds about the cooked breakfast. Ordered our hot food which was delivered in good time, very hot and cooked perfectly (the black pudding was a little too soft for my liking, but very flavourful). Unlimited tea/fresh coffee/toast/pastries etc available as you want too. Great value and lovely people.

This restaurant is a culinary masterpiece! The fresh, vibrant dishes exceeded all expectations, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The warm, cozy atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal.

£60-£100 a burger if you stay 90mins! Pretty crap staff and signage to alert folks to this. Guess the owner takes a cut with Parking Eye to boost their incomes - steer clear, go elsewhere, don't take the risk - it takes ages to find a space in their tiny car park, then you're running out of time...
