Went to this Pub on Sunday 29th Sept. As a Vegetarian there is not normally a great selection and have tried the limited Vegetarian Meals previously, mostly Burgers which are so dry you can’t swallow it. On this Evening, I mentioned to the Manager you should have more varied Veggie and Vegan Meals, to which his reply was GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THEN, absolutely disgusting, will never go there again, not even for a drink.

Came here with my boyfriend, was told NOTHING about entering our reg anywhere. We then realised after literally 2 minutes we were in the wrong place as we were meeting family so we apologised to and thanked the staff, again told nothing about parking. All together we were there 10 minutes as an absolute maximum and have now received a £100 parking fine saying we were there one hour and that we never entered our reg. we were never told anything about entering our reg anywhere by staff!!

Great place, great service, great brekky

Absolutely awful!! Will never come again! We were the only ones there today for a Sunday lunch! Should have thought something wasn't right as the place was empty!! Food was stone cold!! Absolutely freezing, wouldn't say so much if they were rushed off there feet but we were the only ones there!! My partner asked for his steak to be medium to well it come out very rare (so rare a good vet would have brought it back to life). Very bland dinner and the meet was very tough!! Had dessert which I will say was the best thing about the place. Everything was freezing even the coffee we had! Don't waste ur money.

Avoid at all cost!!! We were greeted by the most miserable woman who scoffed at our arrival for breakfast After waiting 5 minutes of the senile woman dawdling around, a manager bimbled out and tried to tell us we had less than 10 minutes to eat and had to order and that there was barely any food available anyway, as I was the family leader who asked for a table it was to my dismay that the woman who greeted us looked like she was a cleaner not some body who served food, when she went into the kitchen to ask can they seat us they told her to get out, seen more life in the care home on scrabble night. My 45 year old son is now crying on the sofa as it was his birthday breakfast where we go every year. Very disappointed overall, my son is now refusing to eat. I will not be returning and will take my custom elsewhere.

Awful service. Shown to our table with no menus, felt like an inconvenience when someone came to take our order. Waited almost an hour for our starters, one child’s starter had to be chased. another long wait for our mains which came before the plates were cleared from the starters. My meal was missing the salad, which was brought in a separate dish. We wanted dessert, but couldn’t find any staff. Another 20 minute wait for the bill. I could have understood if the restaurant was busy, but I would say it was under half full. It’s obvious the staff are not happy in their jobs and the customers are just seen as an inconvenience. Not recommended.

So disappointed and upset with our breakfast experience here. Booked a table both days and were made to feel like a inconvenience. Paid extra for breakfast and tried to cancel 2nd day but couldn't. The two female staff talked loudly, complaining about guests and shouting. They couldn't wait for us to leave. Continental breakfast was cleared away before we were told it finished at 10.30am, all gone by quarter past. I was upset, rushed and absolutely hated the experience. I do understand that staff maybe under huge pressures but it isn't fair to take it out on customers. Heard them complaining about other guests, how they shouldn't order what they had and came in at 10.15 (they advertise and let you book breakfast times so take that up with your manager). Unprofessional and quite frankly darn right rude. Will never use premier inn or any restaurant affiliated with them. The worst I've ever been in.

wonderful place. service was absolutely excellent (special mention to Sian), seated straight away, and drinks on our table within minutes of sitting down. the food was lovely, although it was a bit cold. we assumed it had been under the light for a bit because it was a bit busy. other than that, it was lovely. definitely will be coming again. thank you! :)

Lovely atmosphere, great food. The breakfasts were lovely. Staff very friendly and when I was there for evening meal the food was quick, hot and Ethan who brought my food and drinks couldn't do enough, fab!

There was 11 of us including kids. Meal was a bit slow coming . Bits missing ie I asked for peas and they sent mushy peas. The staff were great. The only complaint slow on the service. And The men's toilet was smelling of pee and it was strong.

On February 14th, the children an myself shared a lovely morning, having a valentines breakfast at Table Table, tucked away behind the drive threw just of M4 Pencoed, we were greated with smiles and polite atmosphere, we were offered to help ourselves to drinks and a continental breakfast to start, then a food order was take, which was eat as much as you like, the meals are amazing value for money, and definitely worth a visit, the Interior was very clean and welcoming, as we visited over half term they had an offer for 1 adult and 2 children eat for £9.99, what a amazing deal, the staff were welcoming and friendly and showed a keen interest in the children 😀 definitely worth calling again

I stay in Permier Inn every week so eat at the restaurant attached every night. I've stayed here a few times now and the service is so slow it's painful. The WiFi also doesn't work. Food is average but it always is in these type of places, cheap pub grub that does the job and nothing more. Would I eat here if I wasn't staying in the hotel? Absolutely not!

Recently visited on New Years Day for a meal after a quick shopping trip. Was really pleased with my experience and the atmosphere was great. The staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The food was outstanding and would definitely recommend visiting if you’re passing by.

Our starters were very poor for the money, we then waited over 1 hour for our main course not great chips were hard steaks undercooked, after another wait of 40 mins I had to go and ask for desert menus which were lovely

As has been mentioned we pre booked a month in advance. The waiteress were great. However want was extremely disapointing was the quality of food. After waiting for 2 hours the food arrived cold boiled so much that all the flavour was gone. The turkey appered to be a heated up roll of turkey that was rubbery. When asked by the waiteress is everything ok. I replied no not really explained to her my concerns. She appoliged. The manager then came over some time after and tried to provide an excuse for the poor quality of the food. Being that they were busy. Really i said you have covers that are here with noone sitting at any of these tables all afternoon. Hes reply how do you know sir have you seen the other side of the restaurant its very busy. Actually yes i have ive walked over. Really sir you've walked over to the other side. I also stated to him that the table of 10 came in an hour after us have been served and left. The fact that myself and a fellow dinner were at the bar talking with another customer who was sittinng on the suggested side that was busy. She was also complaining that she had been waiting for an hour and a half and its not busy. I joked with her saying we have a table of 65 people so thats the reason. Apart from the sub standard heated up food i have to question the managers customer service and attitude towards the customer. I would suggest trying a different place like Macdonalds and thats saying something.

Went there today for a precooked Christmas lunch. Considering we had pre-ordered a month ago, we waited nearly 2 hours for mains. The meat was like cardboard, the veg had the taste boiled out of it, the one parsnip on each plate was raw in the middle. My pre-ordered side dishes arrived 20 minutes after my mains. Topped of by the manager arguing with us once we complained. DO NOT GO HERE. TERRIBLE SERVICE, AWFUL FOOD.

Went ther 13 of us for first Christmas lunch absolutely disgusted with long 3 hour waiting to serve plus restaurant manager James whom has no manner and arrogance behaviour. Be careful of planning to go here. Their opening times are arbitrary. You may well arrive at the end of a long day at work, well before the published closing time, to be told they re closing because they fancy it.

Just left after having the most shocking meal ever. Whoever the chef is, must have been trained by Stevie Wonder! 2 out of 4 meals was RAW! After having waited 30 mins of not longer for our food to come out it was shocking to see that our food was still breathing. Had to call down a waitress to tell her it was raw then waited another 30 minutes for our replacement meals to be brought out we gave up waiting. Will NOT be returning. First and last time we visit.

Had a lovely meal here on the weekend, the food was stunning and the staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys pub grub, it’s the best around. 100% will be returning!

I’m currently staying in the premier inn next to this table table and part of my stay food is included however I wish it wasn’t. getting seated after reserving a table took 10 minutes only for staff to forget I had been seated and not take my order for 30 minutes when they did take my order it took another 30 minutes for someone to acknowledge me and ask if I had revived my starter which I hadn’t, the manager a nice guy come over to do damage control and offered me a free drink or dessert I opted for the dessert but communication is clearly lacking in this restaurant as when I had asked for another drink they waitress had told me she comped it off my order, once my starter had been and gone my main arrived quickly but it was cold showing it had been on the hot hold for ages and the steak it’s self was dire I ordered it medium rare and what turnt up looked like something Moses wore to lead the disciples, I know not to expect anything big from places like this but it was lower than those expectations

Awful experience don’t bother going here. If you stay home you’d have a much more pleasurable time and better food. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:30pm and didn’t leave until 8pm, after 1 course and a coffee. Service was appalling! Extremely long wait for drinks followed by over an hour wait for our main meal. I’d hate to visit on a busy night! Food is basic and microwave meal standards. Waiting staff need to be trained properly on how to wait on a table.

We booked a table in advance for an early evening slot, so that we could travel to an event in Cardiff. We arrived and the restaurant was almost empty. Staff were friendly and we placed our orders. Unfortunately after that, the story goes downhill. After waiting 45 minutes, I went to the bar to ask how much longer our food would be. The young lady said she would find out, but did not come and tell me. Another 10 minutes and our food arrived. I had ordered a roast chicken dinner, but what came out was mostly burned. The roast potatoes were not just overdone, they were completely black, as was the stuffing. The rest of the meal did not look much more appetising. I asked if it could be taken back and the potatoes replaced. I am in my 50s and this is the first time I have ever asked for a meal to be taken back - it was completely unacceptable and not fit to be served. Meanwhile, my husband's meal was cold and dried up (as if it had been left out for some time). The staff were apologetic but unfortunately given the food, I cannot give this restaurant more than 1 star.

On the plus side this pub/restaurant is in a convenient spot and the staff are friendly. However, that is as positive as I can be we ordered 2 meals at an off peak time, waited 45 minutes then asked if the food was coming. When it did arrive my mixed grill was on a warm plate but the food was cold. The meat was dried out as if it had been under the lights for the whole waiting time. I was lucky, the roast potatoes on my wife's plate were literally as black as coal and the gravy had a skin over all of it. To be fair the staff took it back without question but it should never have come in front of a customer. I do regret not taking a photo to prove just how awful it was

Unfortunately not the best experience with the Sunday roast lunch menu today. Wrong price advertised on their menu & online. Ordered large meal & standard meal but received 2 standard meals twice! Second time we received the order with items we asked to be removed on our initial order, my partner said the meat seemed like it was processed meat. The food was extremely bland which was a shame as had a better experience and tastier food at the Merthyr Tydfil restaurant a few weeks back. The manager did compensate us with 1 free drink however, although I would have preferred a nicer meal & experience. We won't be returning.

Standard fayre from the Table Table located next to the Premier Inn. Menu decent and food served generously. Not gourmet but nicely predictable. Service was a highlight from the helpful team who were cool, calm and collected when it was very busy. Top work. Will call in again.

When I have visited (breakfast and early lunch mainly) it’s pretty quiet. The food is of decent quality. A great stop if you want something more substantial than McDonald’s or the like. Affordable food that will fill you. The breakfast is a great deal. The staff here are brilliant. I’ve always had a lovely experience here. Outdoor seating is lovely too. Free carpark is validated within. Definitely Family friendly.

Been staying at premier inn 15 years for work dining in the restaurant 4 times a month for breakfast. Premier Inn breakfast is always good but Pantrthyn farm is the best. Special mention for Sian as she is super efficient & very professional & always a pleasure to deal with in the morning thanks Jay & Sian I will always choose to dine with you.

This was a surprise 9Oth birthday for a dear friend with a limited family. She thought it would be just an ordinary day. However 17 of us turned up at Pantruthin, We had a lovely room and the table was decorated with Happy Birthday banners, a floating 9O and a birthday cake. Every meal was superb (compliments to the chef- I think it was James) Jay, Dan and Maryan were absolutely wonderful making sure that everything went well for this dear lady. It is a day she will never forget. Thank you all so much

Staff badly let down by a manager who is more worried about setting breakfast things up for the next morning then current customers. After all at 8pm in the evening breakfast for the hotel the next day should be a priority 🤔

On my doorstep as well a lovely Sunday Lunch didn't book. Told us room in bar section which is just a nice and roomy food arrived fast and top marks plate was hot as well makes a massive difference plenty on plate, staff were very polite and attentive enough good to see we have this not far from home will be going back deserves a 10 for their whole team from the manager to the staff were well on it

Waited nearly an hour for our food even though there were very few people there, drinks were forgotten, coffees took ages to come, we had asked for a normal & a decaffeinated coffee, when eventually they arrived the waitress (the one that actually took the order) didn't know which was which, we said we needed to know so off she went, came back with another coffee, apparently both original ones were both normal coffees anyway- we shouldn't have bothered as the were like warm anyway! Needless to say, our experience was one definitely that we won't be repeating!!!!!

Had a Sunday lunch. The food was nice but limited in veg choices. Staff were helpful. Would return for a meal. The garden area with seating was nice. There was a lot of litter on the floor.

having reviewed this 4 years ago and recently attended again over easter i thought it would be useful to give it an update. Unfortunately id still rate this as a 2 out of 5 based on another poor experience. food advertised on the menu didnt come with all the items mentioned, nor was the food (steak) cooked as requested. some plates arrived cold whilst others hot. everything came with french fries - which apparently was from 'emergency stock - from Tesco'. I appreciate there are sometimes stock issues, but this should have been mentioned at the point of arriving to give people the option to go elsewhere. Long waits and alot of upset customers, and as we were next to the tills all we could hear was staff complaining about other customers. If i was the owner id certainly get some mystery shoppers so core problems could be dealt with.

Waited for 15 minutes to be seated for food only to be told that they were expecting a party and couldn't cater for us. Why couldn't any of the bar staff inform us straight. Slobs
