Had a family get together ordered a large delivery Can only highly recommend we all enjoyed lovely food good delivery and very helpful person when answering the phone diffently use wok u like again

Stale dry bread on a sandwich just wanted to let the manager know this is how it was served b4 she xame in got another slice of bread to replace the one that was dried up. Got made to feel I'd done wrong 😕 I didn't say to be awkward and previous food was nice. But based on this stale bacon sandwich i won't be going back I'll get one just up the road

Went to takeaway again with some friends to have food. This is the last time I will try them. Food was not cooked fully and some food was cold. Staff are abrupt and rude

I was concerned after reading the reviews however this is a lovely place and I didnt experience anything negative. Rooms are simple and clean with a rustic lodge feel, shower was better than home! Fresh towels, tea and coffee topped up when needed and very quiet surroundings. Sound of the trees, birds and water made for a peaceful break. Food - proper home cooked and hot! No complaints. Ask for the crumble if it's going! Bar - majority of everyones favourites, lovely pub feel, music, projector tv, pool table, what more would you want. Use the entrance from Forge view and the track is fine. There are brown hotel signs on Cwmaman Rd. It adds to the location driving down a track along the river. Sue and family - these guys make this place. Nothing is too much trouble, felt very welcome. They made sure we had everything and went well over and above what I'd expect. The Falcon is the perfect spot to do some of the things we did 1. Penderyn distillery - very good 2. Glynneath Golf - quiet course definitely recommend 3. Trip to Cardiff 4. Brecon steam train 5. Walks All in all, great value, great people, great place. We will be back Thanks

Booked for my birthday, and was really looking forward to it. The server didn't know what the "pie of the moment" was, so had to go and ask. Ordered food and drinks.. 10 minutes later I was told my food choice wasn't available and what would I like instead. So I had to ask for the menu again. Still no drinks, so asked for them again. The table next to us arrived 10 minutes after us, and were served their drinks. We just gave up, went across the road and ordered from the Raven chinese. A fraction of the price, enough food for 3 meals, and ready in 15 minutes. Tasted amazing! We were going back to Uncle Bob's tomorrow for a carvery. We won't be bothering now.

Ordered a delivery from Brocks, it took 2 hours to arrive, on arrival it was all just scrunched in tin foil. It wasn't warm at all. Wrong sauce given and the burgers were burnt. We are really really disappointed especially for the price. Really wanted it to be good but it just wasn't! For £45 it really wasn't great at all. We won't be ordering again, and really annoyed that at nearly £50 and it wasn't even mediocre food.
