Falcon Inn in Rhondda Cynon Taf

(New Owners since I did this review) I think I’ve had the most disgusting service ever! Myself and a few friends went to a local pub that served food, We would prefer to support local independent businesses, There was around 15 kids, 7 adults. So we Pre-Ordered the food. We arranged that we would be there at 6:30, and it all be served and completed by 8:30 so the parents can collect their children, The starters was brought out (slowly) around 7:15, by the time the last of the staters arrived, the first one had finished, Half hour or so later, the main course was being served, again slowly, Yet They hadn’t cleared the dishes yet from the starters, so nowhere really to put the plates down of the main dish, So when they had finally served the Main course, the food wasn’t too bad, One of the female adults went to the toilet, only to find that the lights wasn’t working, so she used the torch on her phone, She sat down and the seat was broken and caused her to fall onto the floor, When we went to the bar, it was Cash Only, so one of the kids asked for a can of Coke which cost £2, gave the bar staff a £10 note, Guess What! They couldn’t give change! 🤔 At 8:30, the parents were waiting to collect their kids, They hadn’t collected the plates from the Main Meal, And we hadn’t had the desserts 🍮 So we had to ask the venue to put the desserts in take away containers, We were expecting them to charge us for them, No apologies from the staff and their attitude was disgusting So , I don’t think we’ll be going to that place again!

Another fantastic meal,had the meal deal pompoms chutney,onion baghi,chicken pasanda,pilau rice and Peshawari nann. All for £16.95. service is excellent . The atmosphere in the restaurant is always relaxed. Highly recommend a visit.

Never had a bad meal,outstanding

I rang for a delivery for my 88 year old mother was told order was to small so would have to wait an hour even though address was just around the corner, after an hour I rang to be told they had cancelled the order because it was to small … curry sauce and chips .. nice to know pensioners are not good for business because they don’t eat enough.

Where do I even start? What a calamity of a so called Chinese food paler. I was promised Chinese style BBQ chicken. What is “Chinese Style” about plain chicken drowned in watery, bbq textured source? In addition to this, my bag containing cold and soggy chips, was presumably ransacked by the delivery driver. The only redeeming factor of this horrendous ordeal which I was obliged to consume was the popadoms which I would presume would be impossible to ruin, but yet again I wouldn’t put it past these village idiots. As a substitution to this company, I recommend such places as “Wing Wah” and “Fagins”. If this pisshand company is ever mentioned to me again, I will spit on the floor, no matter where I am.
