The roast Belly pork was awesome. Lovely crisp crackling and delicious moist meat accompanied by dauphinoise potatoes and veg.

The Wake We Had There Yesterday Was Very Much Appreciated

Not been for a while, ive only just come on here, but it was beautiful, the staff are friendly, the prices are good, the food is nice and they have amazing suveniers, then near it is a beautiful view, love it

Not only did they accommodate us booking the wrong night they allowed us to decorate the pub. Although they were short staffed due to illness we didn't have too long a wait and were kept up to date from the friendly staff that were there. Food was lovely and it was hot when served. Most definetly recommend and go back again x

The atmosphere is always great at the bull. We come every week for the pub quiz which is by far the best in Newport. The staff are brilliant and treat us really well. We particularly love Rhi who kicks people off of our table every week.

My family and I visited for dinner this evening, and we were lucky enough to get the last two pies of the day, which were steak and ale. I can ho estly say it was one of the best pies I've ever had, it had loads of beautiful steak in it and the pastry was beautiful. The mash was tasty but I would've liked more of it, but the gravy that game with it was delicious. We also tried 3 of their desserts ( biscoff cheesecake, lemon meringue pie and waffle ) and these were all delicious aswell. The location is lovely with a small childrens play area and seating out the front. The food was very reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. We will certainly be back again, well done Farmers Arms, keep up the good work.
