What a fab few hours with the grandchildren - it was lovely weather so we thought take the 2 of our granddaughters to visit to the sea wall and then pop in the cafe. Lovely cups of tea and tea cakes with jam for the adults pop and choicy snack for the girls. We played search for the animals ( garden statuettes ) we made a list and the girls had to tick off the list. As there was a little shop we said we would buy a gift each with their pocket money but the lovely lady offered a go at the Tombola at £1 each so we bought 2 each and they were great gifts perfect for the girls - great value for money! wonderful few hours will be back again with our other granddaughters.

Had a lovely cup of tea here after a walk. Dogs made welcome, fresh water provided. Lovely spot in the sun and a quirky interesting place.

Not a great choice. Toast, crumpets or toasted teacake. Owner came into the shop from sitting in the garden, no hand washing. No visible signs of the food hygiene ratings . Very messy shop.

I was expecting more given the reviews. Asked for water for dogs and was given plastic container with thick film of algae in it. I tried to clean it as much as possible but maybe I didn't clean it enough. My dogs were sick afterwards. If pets drink algae affected water, it can poison them. Coffee could have been better, was charged £2 for instant black coffee.

Drinks are served in large cups. Good value for money and their toasted sandwiches are good as well.

Great family run local, lovely food and a huge Sunday roast....

Extremely limited menu, and even then it was poorly executed. For £8.50 I would expect more than a cheese sandwich (on what was obviously pre-sliced shop-bought bread) with undercooked (raw in the middle) chips and some lettuce/onion as a side ‘salad’. The Caesar salad was literally just lettuce and croutons, no chicken etc, yet still cost £12. Service was good, staff were pretty attentive but some music would be good for the atmosphere. Definitely would not come back, we stopped off at a cafe afterwards for some cheaper yet better food.

I have been to this place a good few times and it has been decent up until my last visit. I always order the same thing, a chicken and lamb kebab, but on my last visit, they gave me the special chicken and lamb kebab instead. When I went back in to ask for a correction, I was told that since I didn't check my order before leaving the store, they couldn't do anything about it. The special kebab was nothing like the one I always get, it was just a spicy paste with a few tiny pieces of meat in a wrap. The food was subpar and the service was even worse. With other options nearby like Jewel Balti and The Coriander, I don't see a reason for me to ever return to this place.

Wonderful place to stop for beautiful food and drinks. Staff were so friendly and efficient, and the main plus was that we could go in with our elderly dog, who was treated to some chicken. Lovely atmosphere and everything spotless. We would definitely go in again on our next visit to Caerleon.
