This pub has just been refurbished and our group of 10 plus 2 dogs spent a lovely couple of hours here on Saturday pm when staying just outside the village. There’s plenty of room, roaring fires and tv which had football in one room, rugby in the other! But there were also places you could sit well away from the sport! Prices were reasonable, staff were super friendly and they do pub grub, but we didn’t eat so couldn’t comment on it. Would definitely visit again, thanks for a lovely afternoon

Well, where do I start? From the moment we walked into the Mulberry, we knew we had chosen a beautiful place to stay. It has so much charm and character and the most beautiful gardens in which to sit and have drinks. The little touches make this hotel special, and I can understand why people return. The food at this hotel is some of the best we've had, with so much selection, especially at breakfast. The staff are attentive yet friendly, and if we wanted anything changed, it wasn't a problem. Would we come back again? The answer is a definite yes.

Visited with another family for Sunday lunch - we were staying at a campsite up the valley. This is a “proper” British pub - lovely old building, welcoming atmosphere, decent ales, and hearty, well cooked food. With three 13 year olds in tow, we asked whether the kids portions would be suitable - they definitely were. Will be coming back.

Hotel Closed - the hotel is closed due to a boiler issue, didn’t bother to call ahead. We sat outside of the hotel for an hour trying to ring them. Finally managed to get through and turn out the hotel has been closed for 3 weeks - cannot understand why they didn’t call ahead to let us know.

An excellent Sunday luncheon. A comfortable and pleasant hotel with a pleasant bar & dining room, open fires very warm & comforting on a cold day. A Duck parfait starter followed by. Sirloin of beef. Ideal spot for a late Sunday lunch. Beautifully presented and well deserving of 2 AA Rossettes.
