The food in The Oak was delicious, scampi and chips was apparently a highlight, good music, waitress and landlord very pleasant. We'll be back!

Tried to order online on their app, won’t let me check out, so called to place order, told cash only, why why why advertise your service with delivery and demand cash. Do you realise 87 % of British transactions are done by card. Phoned another takeaway in Oswestry no problem, brilliant service and lovely food. DO NOT ORDER FROM THUS TAX EVADING STUBBORN ARRAGANT INDIAN

2 Hand Terrace, Chirk, Wrexham LL14 5EU, United KingdomCalled in for a drink with our dogs. We were all made very welcome by the lovely staff. Good choice of drinks both alcoholic and soft drinks. All the locals in there were chatty and my husband ended up having a game of darts with them. Nice seating area outside and plenty of seating inside along with x2 pool tables and x2 dart boards. There is a cafe being developed at the back which I’m sure will do well. Definitely be coming here again for a pint and a chat 🍺.
