What an amazing hidden gem this is. Really nice setting, very friendly staff and to die for cakes. I had a mini afternoon tea (very reasonably priced) which consisted of some freshly made cheese & chutney and ham & mustard finger sandwiches, possibly the best fresh scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream and a slice of blueberry bakewell cake yum yum - the scone was definitely the highlight. I also had a decafe mocha which was also exceptional- i look forward to visiting again with my sons who are both partial to a nice scone đ.

Great coffee and good selection of outdoor clothing and equipment, lots of local books and information. Try the Guinness muffin!

After a morning hike at Dinorwic Quarry, we were starving and looking for a good spot to eatâpreferably somewhere outdoors to enjoy the sunshine. We came across Pantri, and it couldnât have been more perfect. It was a bit busy when we arrived (just past 12 noon), but we managed to find a table outside. The vibe was greatâlaid-back and sunny. We ordered Eggs All Ways, Potato and Chorizo Hash, Mixed Olives, Cheesy Fries, and Hot Chocolate. The portions were generous, and everything was delicious. The Cheesy Fries were a surprise favoriteâso good and full of flavor! I actually felt bad not finishing everything because we were so full and satisfied. One of my most memorable breakfast experiences, and Iâm so glad we decided to stop here. Highly recommend Pantri, especially after a good hike in the area!

This was easily the tastiest and best-prepared meal we had during our week in Wales (as Americans). This pubâs kitchen has a true chef working there. We had mussels in an incredibly rich and perfectly seasoned tomato cream sauce, then grilled cod over black garlic risotto. I canât overstate just how welcome the punch of flavor and obvious care that was put into the dishes were. This is my first tripadvisor review, and I write it for any other tourist that knows the struggle of picking between restaurants in a small town. Let me make the decision for you, eat here.

We were in town exploring the area and had dinner here. We received excellent service but our main reason for reviewing was to comment on the quality of the food. We started with the garlic bread - it was delicious and the garlic seemed very fresh. My wife had a garden salad with her entree and she commented on the freshness of the tomatoes and other ingredients. I took a couple of samples and agreed that it was very flavorful. My wife had their flat bread of the day which was roasted asparagus with buffalo mozzarella. She thought the entree was delicious and she commented again on the ingredients. I went with their steak and welsh ale pie and was delighted by both the pastry top and the fillings - it was much better than a similar pie I had had earlier in Cheltenham at a higher end restaurant. We finished with their chef dessert which was a homemade rhubarb and apple crumble - the crumble and the flavor were very good. Overall we will eat here again during our short stay and would recommend the restaurant to others seeking well prepared quality food.

Eaten here many of times and have enjoyed the food never had an issue..!! Had breakfast today it was terrible i asked for the sausages and bacon to be well done with my fat cut off the bacon... i never leave food on my plate always empty đ¤Śââď¸ not this time my plate was full as i left with disappointment... To be fair the owners wasn't here it was a new chef which i told the waitress to let the owners know the food was terrible.

So disappointing. We left a busy vibey cafe up the road to try Pantri, which my husband liked the look of. We entered from the adjacent shop, and that seemed to cause some communication problems. Having enquired about whether food was still being served, we were told to sit down like naughty children then when we ventured to the counter to look at the rather meagre selection of cakes - I was told I should have read the sign on the door- i did not use to understand there was no coffee on offer. Chastened I ordered a chamomile tea and some mass produced carrot cake. Not happy, unwelcoming, cold and teenage. We paid ÂŁ15 to be treated like this, doubtless it had been a difficult day for the Pantri team.

Been here quite a few times now and it is perfect for a mountain trip. Everything you need is there including a kettle, fridge, tea making things and very helpful staff. The bus to Pen y Pass can be caught just across the road. The food is excellent and good value.

Discovered this excellent vegan cafe completely by accident and what a discovery! I only arrived late afternoon but there was still a good choice of cakes. Couldn't resist ordering the maple pecan tarty and the Boston creme croissant, saved having to make a choice (although I'd have liked to sample the other options too). The cakes didn't just look good buy tasted excellent too (to often cakes look better than they taste). Very pleasant cafe, hope to get back for a proper lunch sometime. The coffee was excellent too.

We stopped here for breakfast twice, having been disappointed by the service at another establishment. The breakfast rolls are tasty, especially the sausages, and both the tea and coffee were good. Fair prices and very friendly service. Outdoor seating where you can eat your food whilst enjoying the beautiful views of Llanberis and its surroundings. Also does delicious cakes, milkshakes and hot chocolate. Highly recommended.
