Georgio's Ice Cream in Gwynedd

I saved this as my post mountain climbing treat.. and boy it was worth it!!! The scoops are huge and the flavours of ice cream are incredible!! Really well done on that. Brilliant little ice cream shop

Lovely service with delicious ice creams. We had never tried before flavours (mango+ginger and apple +cinnamon. Some ice creams were suitable for vegans or coeliac etc. They also sell sweet treats and milkshakes.

We visited this ice cream parlour twice in a week and on both occasions the ice cream was excellent and the service very good There are a wide range of flavours and we tried 7 between us plus a dog ice cream which was amusing to see our four legged friend try to extract from its tub. Highly recommended

If you like ice cream, check this place out. Normally, I'm a creature of habit & opt for vanilla but broke with tradition & has pistachio, which was delightful. The lady gave me a sample of the vanilla, which was, in my opinion anyway, stunning! I plan to walk snowdon this year & will definitely be getting my post walk treat from here.

This was the best ice-cream I have ever tasted. Lot’s of flavours to choose from, even had dairy free which was a bonus for me. Was you have chosen it’s lovely to go sit by the lake.

Always choose Georgio's. Good dollop of ice cream and plenty of flavours to choose from....then go and sit by the lake and eat it while taking in the scenery

Saw the queues the previous day so thought we’d give it a try today. We weren’t disappointed. Salted caramel and strawberry cheesecake in a tub which was lovely and the tub was full, very nice. Lots of different flavours available to suit everyone. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Wish I knew about the split flavour option! Got two scoops and I felt like I was drowning in a sea of delicious ice cream! Very nice. Would highly recommend.

What a fantastic place. 24 ice-cream flavours, if like me you find traditional creamy desserts too rich and long for traditional gelato, denied to you by the pandemic, you will not be disappointed with Georgio’s. Even the scoops are Roman style, more like spatulas, and due to size you can ask for split flavours. Making it a great value for money. They also have a lovely selection of sorbets, mango is Devine, making it vegan friendly!!!!

I’ve visited here a few times and the ice creams always taste fantastic and there is always a good choice of flavours. This was my first visit post-Covid and I felt safe that all hygiene precautions had been taken. The range of ice cream was good and tasted excellent as always.

We called in here for some ice creams after a walk around the lake. Good choices, reasonable prices too.

Superb ice cream, generous size and absolutely delicious. Best ice cream I’ve had, honestly. Lots of choice including vegan cones & 4 vegan flavours, which my sister loved. Fabulous!

The ice creams here are brilliant. Have been here many times and never disappointed. The mint ice cream is absolutely brilliant, the staff are all very friendly.

The ice cream here is outstanding! I had two scoops; coffee and jammie dodger. Both were delicious. The lady in the shop was lovely too and gave us free fudge sticks, also home made and absolutely delicious. Not only the biggest ice cream but probably the best.

Disappointed with the ice cream. Portions are generous. The guy behind the counter was really helpful. They do have homemade fudge for sale and chocolates.

The ice creams were absolutely delicious and there was a great deal of choice on offer, each being unique and colourful. In terms of staff, they were cheerful, friendly and thoroughly welcoming to tourists which was brilliant to see. Overall, it was thoroughly enjoyable.

Amazing ice cream... but I was slightly put off by the staff handling money and chocolate flakes with no sign of gloves or sanitiser.

We were pleasantly surprised to find our local ice cream shop now does vegan ice cream, very nice! Would love there to be even more choices of flavours for vegans.

Called in for a nice treat on a hot day. Lots of choice of flavours, including a couple of dairy free and sorbets. Had the coffee ice cream, was lovely. Only downside is it’s a bit pricey - £4.50 for a double scoop cone or tub.

I love this place.....when was the last time you tasted propper home made ice creams..?? that had no artifical ingredients.....the distinct lack of sacharin and horrid stuff in these wonderfull creations will spoil your tastebuds into apreciating the good stuff they are made from ....Forever....I can't stand shop bought ice creams now..so needless to say I will now travel ...Miles..to have one ie from Anglesey..no less.....so INDULGE...you wont regret it..:)

After reading the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor we made a visit here and were very disappointed. One scoop cornet = £2.50 The honeycombe/chocolate chip ice cream was flavourless and had ice crystals throughout it.

We visit here whenever we visit north wales. Ice cream is delicious and even one scoop is huge. Just disappointed there wasn't any peanut butter icecream today...however rhe mango and ginger was lovely.

Friendly knowledgeable staff told us all about the different flavours and there are a lot of them (about 20), we had a Jaffa cone & a Lemon Meringue one, both were fab, big scoops which are good value for the portion size.

OK, so it's a teeny bit pricey but so totally worth it! The scoops are HUFE and the flavours incredible. Go go go ----

We stopped here for the daily dose of Ice Cream - there was a good selection of flavours (I had Jaffa Cake!) and it all tasted good. The staff were friendly. I've no complaints but this place wasn't as good as the one in Beddgelert

Visitamos Georgio en un día muy caluroso, un día ideal para un helado. Bastante difícil explicar que aunque el helado era muy sabroso era un poco demasiado grande y demasiado suaves para disfrutar completamente, así que sólo puedo darle una marca de cuatro.

Nos vimos este en la calle alta y fue perfecto para un día de calor. Al principio pensé que era un poco caro (fuimos por 3 bolas para compartir) y elegimos para conseguir la bañera pero luego vi por qué 3 bolas era ~ £6, eran gigantescos! La bañera estaba llena, sobre el tamaño de 2 x Ben & Jerrys! El mango y jengibre no era agradable, pero el pomelo rosado era deliciosa y refrescante quebradiza y el millonario fue delicioso.

They have many flavor of ice cream and they also sell many different kind of candies. This place is on a narrow main street.

We were staying in a holiday cottage and had some vegan friends visit for a meal. We had discovered Georgio's sold ice cream suitable for vegans and so purchased 2 polystyrene containers of ice cream. The containers allowed us to get the ice-cream back to the cottage without melting. To say our friends were impressed is an understatement and they ate nearly all the ice cream. We had it with fresh pineapple and it was great.Thank you!

By far the best ice cream in the area. Great choice, friendly service in a stunning location. Always worth a visit.

to die for ice cream - all home made on site - we go here every time we visit this village or go on the train to the peak of snowdonSo many flavours to choose from and always new ones - they also do ices and beautiful fudge and sweets. go on treat yourself. £2 for a gigantic cone - I had a double one a few weeks ago - half way through I was wishing I had bought a tub to freeze but forced myself to keep going.

Lovely ice creams, lemon meringue pie and millionaires shortbread were a winner for us. Very reasonably priced.

We visited this ice cream parlour and found the choice of ice creams amazing and the taste was amazing we had as many as two a day and the dog also loved them all I can say is it is the best icecream that I have had in years if you are here in Llanberis Snowdon this is a must , the staff were also very pleasant and well mannered , cant wait to go back .

We always have the child's portion as we like the wafer cone, the ice cream is lovely :) the staff are nice and the place is always clean.

I have been here with my class on their school residential so had to take my own children when we visited Llanberis recently-it did not disappoint. Friendly and polite service from the two staff to all who entered. We all had double scoops of delicious home made ice creams...ok not cheap (£4 a double) but generous scoops compared to some places I've visited in tourist locations. Would definitely return.

First time we've been here, but if in the area would certainly return. The orange ripple was possibly the nicest flavour I've ever had, and combined with toffee fudge was great. So many great flavours to choose from. A must visit in Llanberis

Homemade ice-cream in lots of lovely flavours. You can mix and match your flavours and scoops are generous. Well worth the money.

Was very surprised at how good and delicious the Ice-cream was from this place. Ordered three scoops in a cone - Bilberry/Raspberry/Lemon Meringue.Every single flavor was delicious but the Bilberry was the cream of the crop.This is real, homemade Ice-cream and you can see (and taste) that a lot of attention and care was put into it.Was very happy when I finished eating my Ice-cream and the bottom of my cone.

We have bought ice creams from here twice. Both times the ice creams were so large, I did not want any dinner. They are the closest ice creams to true Italian ices. The flavours are so nice that I want them all. Some people might find it expensive but we think it is well worth the price. Staff are nice too.

Unexpected to have an ice-cream on the sidewalks or Llanberis!!! It was raining and we had a great ice-cream and a warm welcome.

Visited here a couple of years ago when last in North Wales and the dairy free dark chocolate ice-cream has been pleasantly wedged in my mind eversince. We (two adults three children) made a trip back here during our annual holiday only to find the dark chocolate dairy free was not there! However the visit was saved when I then found the Melon dairy free fruit ice which was wonderful, on my second visit during this years holiday to sample the delights of the Melon Fruit ice I was confronted with the immensely pleausrable dilemma of the chocolate dairy free being available again. For old times sake and after we had climbed Snowdon I settled on the dark Chocolate, yet on my third visit I couldnt decide as they really were both so enjoyable I had to have two massive scoops of both. I still can't decide which I prefer, both fantastic. My children tried a variety of dairy ice cream flavours, they loved them all, but for me the fact that being dairy free I am not made to feel like a stranger in an ice cream parlour (relagated to the dreaded lemon sorbet section) and add to that the melon and peach melba fruit ices and dark chocolate dairy free ice cream choices are so wonderful that I absolutely do not miss dairy ice cream, nope, not one bit.

Good home made ice cream , good choice. Can take away ice cream from the freezer. Excellent choice of chocolates and sweets. Staff very helpfull and will give a small sample of ice cream on request.

We all came here last week for a treat and a treat is what we got. I got cherry ice cream and it's probably one of the nicest I have tasted since Italy. All the family loved theirs too. Would recommend to anyone

Whist on Holiday in nearby Llanrug, We visited Llanberis and five of us a lovely ice cream,excellent choices and we sat over looking Lake Padarn enjoying our excellent ice cream. We will be back

Lovely ice creams even if it is a bit expensive. They went down an absolute treat after a hot day walking round Snowdon. The shop is slightly out of the way of the main attractions but worth the short walk up to the high street.

This place is worth a visit forget that Whippy stuff come and try there selection of Scrummy Ice Cream. It's extremely mouth-watering and you can mix your flavours. Yum,Yum.

We were 6 ice cream eaters and all agreed that we had had better. Just not enough flavour. I love coffee ice cream and found this hugely disappointing (had better from a supermarket in a tub!)The girl serving us was unpleasant. Maybe she was having a bad day!

I stopped here today for a treat after an 8 mile walk with my Dad. There was so much choice, if I lived locally I'd be there most days! They are a bit expensive in comparison to what you'd spend at an ice cream van for example, but it was worth it- good quality and a decent sized scoop.

The worst problem here is deciding which flavour to choose! The ice cream was very nice on a lovely sunny day. The shop is in the middle of the village of Llanberis & quite a way from the Snowdon attractions. It was school finishing time & it was pleasing to see that it is popular with the local children. However, I do wish the assistants would hold a napkin around a cone when handling it. It is SO unhygienic when handling money with the same hand.

I adore ice cream but,,,not at these prices! The taste is not authentically home-made either, which is. A shame as an ice cream parlor in a village is a lovely summer thing. I've lived in the village of Nant Peris for more than 20 years but won't pay a fiver for 2 cones!

It was red hot on our last day in Llanberis, and we had the best ice cream we`ve had in years!! and all made on the premises!! amazing :)

Italian style, very very nice, proper great scoops of it. Keeps the kids happy for hours! Dad's of course have no interest in such things!

Georgios ice cream parlour is worth a visit. The selection of ice cream is enormous and you will be spoilt for choice. It is a bit expensive but worth paying the extra.

Great ice cream and a wonderful display of sweets. Good service and home made ice cream that is unique (for an American taste). New flavors every day. Do not leave town without visiting Georgios.

A great little shop selling a huge selection of homemade ice cream. The mint chocolate chip and lemon sorbet were particularly good.

Had so many varieties was spoilt 4choice!! Tasted lovely and price is reasonable. Will be back to try the other flavours!! =)
