Discovered this excellent vegan cafe completely by accident and what a discovery! I only arrived late afternoon but there was still a good choice of cakes. Couldn't resist ordering the maple pecan tarty and the Boston creme croissant, saved having to make a choice (although I'd have liked to sample the other options too). The cakes didn't just look good buy tasted excellent too (to often cakes look better than they taste). Very pleasant cafe, hope to get back for a proper lunch sometime. The coffee was excellent too.

My go-to spot in Llanberis! the coffee is perfect, there’s always delicious cakes and pastries, the staff are so lovely, and the vibes are immaculate. Everything is made fresh and it’s vegan by default, but even if you don’t follow a plant-based diet this is the kind of food everyone would enjoy - bagels, cornish pasties, croissants, cakes, it’s all amazing :) Keep up the good work, gang!

My partner and I had our first date in this cafe. On a recent weekend away with friends we visited for coffee and cake on a Sunday afternoon. We were advised that they were closing at 3pm and did we mind paper cups. My partner said that he did mind and would prefer proper cups and that we would finish them before 3pm. When they arrived in paper cups he complained. The response was to take our drinks away and to say that we would be refunded. However, we have still not had our money back. My partner was understandably frustrated at not being heard and having our drinks taken away. He approached the counter and said that he would put a review on trip advisor about their attitude. At this point the chef put his phone up and started filming him. My partner covered his camera and then had his hand pushed away and it slammed into the glass counter. A large customer intervened and pushed my partner twice in the chest very aggressively out of the cafe. He was visibly upset and shaken when a lot of other customers started filming. I was told to leave, I felt very uncomfortable and intimidated when they locked us out. My partner reported the incident to the police who are investigating.

What a great spot. Great atmosphere, really pleasant staff and interesting decor. The first time that we have had cappuccino with oatmilk and it was really nice. We had a cornish pastie and a biscoff and they were so good. I didn't know that it was all vegan until my wife told me ! I'd thoroughly recommend this cafe.

Beautiful little cafe with amazing food! We had cheese, tomato and ham croissant, pastrami, gherkin and cheese bagels and the best giant cinnamon swirl!!! Service was outstanding, very kind and helpful and made a fresh bagel up without mustard for one of my children! Will definitely return

The cafe was really cute and welcoming. I loved that by default all the drinks were made with oat milk and I think(?) all the snacks are vegan. I had a cinnamon roll and it was fantastic, would really recommend to anyone in the area, particularly to refuel after walking about the lake!

Had a two night stay here over the weekend of the 6th Sept and what a wonderful little place it is. Emma and Menno were the most welcoming, friendly hosts and we immediately felt like this was a home from home, our room was very cosy and complete with home made Welsh cakes that went down a treat with a cup of tea after the long drive. The breakfasts were amazing and with the added twist of a Dutch breakfast option courtesy of Menno. The tea rooms are currently closed allowing for a lovely spacious breakfast room which is decorated with photos and keepsakes from all over the world. Emma gave us pointers on the local eateries and places to go and even filled up our water bottles for us when we went out on our hike. This is a fantastic base for walking with easy access to both the Rydd Ddu, and Snowdon Ranger paths up Snowdon as well as having several lakes and close by to the Nantile Ridge. Ty Mawr is currently up for sale which is a shame because we would definitely stay again. Thank you Emma and Menno for giving us a really lovely stay.
