The best restaurants in Hirael Gwynedd North Wales

We visited Bangor for the evening and stumbled across this pub. Keith, Linda and Lynn were so kind and welcoming and we loved our time here!! Would recommend 100%!

When they first opened the chicken was 'real' lovely chunks, fantastic quality. Over the last few months the chicken has mirrored many other Chinese takeaways in the area - rubbery, wet and slimy. Pretty much inedible. It's a huge shame as everything else is lovely. They've obviously changed supplier for profit reasons and as a result the chicken is horrendous.

Chips was amazing and still hot and burger was 9/10

Really nice atmosphere, workers were very friendly and very accommodating. We were in here for a few hours and those hours just flew by, nice and clean, very polite! Definitely recommend!!

Hoy voy a los kebabs, y tengo una niña cómo toma el pedido a diario, pero no sabía a quién tomar bien el pedido, y de qué manera la comunicación a cualquier cliente, estoy tan enfadada por hoy mi experiencia kebaby 😡 Es una chica muy grosera 👧 Y mucho tiempo esperando mi orden como 20 minutos Y después de esperar mucho tiempo me dio comida sembrada 🤯 No es justo, y además una cajera no dio buen servicio, estoy muy decepcionada con una cajera, Solicito al kebaby oner que se haga mejor, a cuyo modo la comunicación con los clientes Y no es la primera vez, pero lo ignoramos, y hoy ella lo traspasa los límites, hoy se portó mal conmigo. Lovely medium sized pub, the staff were very friendly and polite the atmosphere was really nice and welcoming, they had a good range of pub activities such as darts and pool.

Ordered our food at 18.07 website states 35 to 50 mins delivery, food finally arrived at 19.35. When challanged about the late delivery the driver said there had been an issue with the fryer. We argued that they should have contacted us to inform us about the delay the driver gave us a contact number (which cannot be found on any Web search for the place) to speak with the manager. My husband phoned to complain first he was hung up on so second call resulted in being told the driver had been stopped by the police on his way so one person is lying!! The food was OK ish the lettuce was old and limp the buger smothered in mayonnaise. WE WILL NOT BE USING THIS BUGER PLACE AGAIN
