Great toasties on good bread and a very generous pot of tea for two. Friendly and good service. Well worth a lunch stop and any other time

Really low service. We had to cancel our food and waited 20/25 minutes for two coffees. They only started making the coffees when we politely chased for them, as there were a couple of waitresses stood around chatting. We were given attitude when we asked for them. It isn’t the first time we’ve experienced slow service at this cafe unfortunately which is a shame as the food is lovely and it’s a great spot to stop for a coffee after a walk.

Went in for ice cream with my children, ordered chocolate ice cream in a tub for my youngest son who is autistic. He changed his mind and wanted it in a cone, so I asked the young girl serving me if she could give me an extra cone and I would pay for that too. You’d have thought I massively inconvenienced her, she started sighing and had such a grumpy face at my request! Beach pavilion - I know that you employ teenagers who are just after a bit of pocket money, but perhaps a bit of training is in need for your staff. Very rude and not a nice experience.

Absolute garbage the curry tasted funny the chicken was frozen an cold in the hot sauce. Ive had alot of curry over the years none as bad as this Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody Also the place could do with a good clean its filthy

Have regular takeaways from here, also our guests from guest house come here, as we highly recommend the food. Always perfectly cooked and warm friendly people. The batter on the fish is so light and crispy, not greasy like some places. Cannot recommend enough. 10 / 10

Thought we'd give it the benefit of the doubt just once...never again. Even the basics were terrible...noodles,rice,chips...all tasteless and stale. Let alone the DF chicken strips...contained about 10 pence worth of rubbery meat. Not to mention a terrible effort at making a basic mushroom omelette...watered down egg cooked in meat flavoured oil. I won't be giving them another penny.
