This place is really special. The host is welcoming and really knows his stuff about rum. The vibe is great. A lot of locals seem to enjoy the place which is always a good sign. Unfortunately we could only stay for one drink but whenever we visit Aberystwyth we will pop in for a drink or two in the future.
We took a detour to here after seeing the reviews and were not dissapointed. The pizza was so tasty and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely make sure to stop off again in the future. We chose to sit in and service was great but also saw plenty of people with takeout which would be great if you're stopping close by.
Wonderfully thought out food, a unique take away experience, one where you feel good the next morning. Friendly service, ethical policies, great creativity with lovely ingredients.
Popped in yesterday to kill some time before kids pick up. Friendly barman and locals, call you over to chat if you're solo, enjoyed the well kept chestnut ale. Recommended.
Great new bar in New Quay, Wales. Situated right by the seafront. Stopped off with my wife for a couple of drinks. Really nice inside and has a great balcony overlooking the seafront. Very friendly staff. Good bar, well stocked with beers, wines, nice cocktails ect all very reasonable prices ( Look and learn Cornwall ). Really enjoyed our visit.
We stopped off here on our way home for breakfast. Everything was fresh and good quality. I had a full English and my partner had eggs Benedict. We enjoyed our meals and the service was good. My only reason for not giving five stars is that I felt some of my items were a bit too greasy. This is easily rectified though and so I would definitely return.
Oh and the cakes looked amazing!!!
We have to buy in bulk, and transport talerddig sausage rools over 300 miles for our daughter, that tells you everything you need to know. Lovely bread too

As a wooden sign says on top of their dainty and warm dining room: "we came to this place as strangers and leave as friends".
Located in a bucolic scenery, real Wales, the farm is beautiful and cozy. Sarah is the charmest host I´ve ever met and Connie is the sweetest four legs soul you can imagine. I need a ten star ranking to rate breakfast. Top 10!
Came here for some lunch with my sister. We both had the tuna jacket potatoes. Plenty of toppings and a lovely meal overall. Staff very attentive. Got some lovely cannolis from the show downstairs too.

This was our first visit here. Welcoming village community-run shop and cafe on the Brecon Road in the centre of the village, near to Llangorse Lake and the caravan park there. It was next to a new village hall/community centre and post office, and a Primary School. The tarmacked car park is good size and the whole place was accessible for people with disabilities. Nice modern building, with a well-stocked grocery shop and a lovely modern cafe, accessible loo with baby change facilities.
There was everything that you would need in the well-stocked shop, including fresh, chilled, frozen, and packaged food, as well as a good selection of household supplies, all of which were sold at prices that are affordable. They were open to receiving suggestions regarding what other things should be on sale. I am celiac and suggested it would be good to have a larger range of gluten free food available, especially savoury items in the cafe. They have a good Facebook page where they regularly post, including special offers. @Llangorsvillageshop.
The coffee shop was lovely, nice seating and tables, and sold a good selection of cakes, hot pasties, sandwiches etc. There were gluten free bars available and they are looking at improving their range. There was fresh coffee, range of teas and soft drinks. You could also order food to take out.
Staff were all friendly and welcoming and found time to talk to you. Drinks and food were served quickly, no waiting for ages for it to arrive. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
We visited this restaurant as a party of 12 to celebrate a 60th birthday, apart from a child aged 4 the rest of the table were adults. Julie, the owner, went out of her way to make us and the 4 Yr old very welcome. The whole experience was marred by some other diners (women) who were making comments about us being 'rough' and tutting that we were making to much noise when the 4yr old was laughing. Lovely pub but horrible clientele
