Was welcomed here mid (freezing cold) bikepacking ride to a fantastic spread of cakes, drinks and delicious hot soup! The ladies were very friendly and chatty and it wasn't long before we'd all warmed up nicely, ready to continue our trip. Will definitely route this way in the future. :)

Never been here before yet only live a couple of miles up the road. Belinda opened up specifically for us after booking ahead. Met family members here who had been walking on Glyndwrs Way. We had plenty of tea and coffee and enjoyed toasted sandwiches, topped off with homemade carrot cake. Belinda was very accommodating for our one year old - getting toys and games out for him to play with. Welcomes all sorts here including the four legged friends too. Absolutely wonderful little gem. But booking advised 👍🏻

This cafe is open at certain times detailed on its website and Facebook page. Once I had made contact, Belinda kept me informed of opening times. I went with a friend and Belinda was extremely welcoming to us and the other customers. Home made scones and cakes were on display and soup and toasted sandwiches were made to order and everything was served quickly. The building was clean and had displays on the walls of other activities which took place there. Until about 20 years ago it seems that it was the local school. Hamlet of Bwlch Y Sarnau is set up high and there are fantastic views to enjoy from the cafe windows as you eat and drink inside. We will go there again.

If I sent Christmas cards, Belinda would be at the top of my list. Why's that then Mac? Well anyone who who opens their doors all night to a steady stream of flagging bikepackers who honk of riding through miles of agricultural by-product is an absolute star. Somehow, Belinda had caught wind of the Bear Bones 200 passing through the village and subsequently offered to provide much needed sustenance to the weary wayfarers. I arrived at midnight and the cafe was still busy then. All the soup dishes were gone so I I ordered a baked potato and beans, a pot of tea and a gallon of Sprite. It was all wolfed / gulped down whilst Belinda cheerfully attended to everyone's needs. One or two had got their sleeping bags out to grab some rest before continuing riding the Welsh wilds and I did too, recharging for a couple of hours before heading out again. I heard one or two more seeking sanctuary afterwards and at some point Belinda had fixed up a camp bed and was grabbing some ZZZZZs herself. She had left a message to wake her if anyone needed anything. This is a community cafe and they rely on passers by to keep going. If you are planning a trip this way, seriously consider ringing ahead so that you can drop in for some fine snacks (I didn't have any but the cakes were much enjoyed by others.) From the service we received, I can only hope the BB200 passes this way again. Many thanks Belinda.

After a long day of being lost on my bicycle all through gorgeous Welsh countryside, I was beyond excited to eventually arrive at my destination - Glyndwr's Way Cafe, where I was met with delicious coffee and cake! Such a great experience in the most beautiful setting - highly recommended!
