The Pizza Box - Hay On Wye in Powys

Buonissima!!!! My family came over from Italy to visit us. And guess where I took them for dinner? In Three cockspur to combine excellent pizza and great beer from Antur Brewery. Well, it was a success. Zis Giustina's comment was "It's even better then some pizzas I had in Italy. The base it's excellent and you can really tell they use truly genuine ingredients! Bravissimi."

There are a number of pizza businesses in the area but this is the best. In fact, we've had our best pizzas that we've ever had here. For me, the quality of the dough is vitally important and this is a division or two above the competitors'.

I can't get enough of the pizza from The Pizza Box. They use best quality ingredients and the pizza is prepared and cooked freshly for you in the wood fired oven in their horse box trailer. The service is fast and super friendly. They add specials to their menu which feature seasonal produce. I think their pizza is some of the best I have eaten, from Italy to Brooklyn and everywhere in between. They set up shop in different locations in the Hay On Wye area and usually post their plans on their Facebook page.

The pizza box serves pizza from their converted horsebox trailer and I happened to spot them in my town as they travel around the Hay on Wye/Builth and Brecon area. 5 minutes after I placed my order, I had a woodfired 12" pizza in my hands. It was light, crispy and very tasty. Judging by the queue that was forming, also very popular!

Could taste the quality ingredients used, Also the high fired wood fed oven , gave the pizza , plenty of texture and crispy charcoal bubbly crust Taste Moreish.. Added a request to order actioned exactly as required,,spotlessly clean.. very welcoming and accommodating staff. Definitely recommend. Perfectly cooked pizza, top quality ingredients, freshly prepared and beautiful cooked in the wood fired oven. Friendly young team served an excellent pizza.

Unreal, iv tried most of the pizzas now and they have all been outstanding, you won't be disappointed with one of these. And if there not set up in your area they will deliver aswell, brilliant service. 👏 👌👍👍👍
