Lip Licking Kebab House in Powys

Went there and asked for a kebab and he says 'no card, you walk 0.5 miles up the road and cash point there' as he puts kebab meat in the microwave so I went 'okay mate' went outside, jumped in van and left to find somewhere else to eat. The hole time I was in there he was rubbing him hairy belly with his bare hand like winny the poo

The pizza was horrible it was greasy the cheese was like cardboard and the pepperoni was not normal not coming here again

The pepperoni on the pizza was under cooked the cheese wasnt up to standard and the base was extremely flimsy. The cook also death stared me and my friends whilst waiting for the pizza. The place smelled like pee.

Delicious food is served here 🤩😍 I recommend it to everyone

We was away on holiday so we thort to try this kebab so very excellent customer service and the food was fantastic will be back next year

Good has gone down hill terribly I used to go here alot the price has gone ridiculous and the food is hardly just about cooked I ordered a wrap and charged for a rap got a tray of Donner meat and hard pitter bread in a separate bag. I won't going there again. There is no pride in there cooking anymore just money money money. Shame to have to write this but I won't be going again. The family who run it are amazing people but buisness is buisness and the quality of food has gone down hill rapidly. Sorry guys for writing this but you don't listen to customer feedback.

Best kebab I've had all year. I had shish and kofte . Tender and lean. Perfectly cooked. Hard to fault. Even the pitta was fresh, not the cardboard most places do. Good salad too.5 star hygine rating and helpful staff. I will be back regularly now I've discovered this place.

Ordered food at the counter to take away. Food was missing so I arranged to pick up the rest. No apologies despite having taken the order wrongly. Ended up paying extra for the missed food which was poor quality and really expensive for what it was. Only the pizza was good quality and ok value. Burgers and chips were well over priced. The staff didn't seem to care either.

Absolutely horrendous food literally only use it as a last resort if everything else is closed. Pizzas come with a block of cheese on them and always find hairs in food

Constantly getting our orders wrong, ordered 1 cheese burger and 2 chicken burgers and 1/4 chicken and chips and I got 3 cheese burgers and no 1/4 chicken and chips, useless shop do not ever go there for food also found a hair In the pizza we ordered

The 1st time he charged my gf £10 for small chips and nuggets , she said give the change in cola he gave her 1 can and asked us to leave ,2nd time I went to order meal deal 2 which was £14.50 for 2x9 inch pizza, chips and big bottle of pop , however the owner changed menu which what we wanted was £1 more he refused to inform us and sold us one 9 inch a box of over dried salad and a can of coke for £14.50 then tried charging us £1.50 for chips on top , we would never go there again and just want to make other people aware.they don't deserve a srar but I have to give a star to post this.

We went to the white horse in Builth wells and we were disappointed to find they were not serving food on a Sunday evening. Headed back to Llandrindod and decided on a takeaway as we were all hungry. We are so glad we went here. The special lamb kebab was the best I’ve had for a very long time. Came with peppers mushrooms and onions. The lamb was so tender and very lean. The others had various mixed kebabs and everyone was really pleased with theirs. Maybe it’s new owners as can not understand why there are bad reviews. We will be back if down this way again 👍.

The portion sizes were shocking to say the least especially with the prices charged. Also the amount of grease in the mixed kebabs was disgusting

Says they are open till 1.30 but won’t take an order from 12pm. Shocking and rude

If I could leave zero stars I would, asked for naan bread and was given a tortilla wrap. One the scabbiest Kebab shops I've ever had the misfortune of visiting

Great pizzas at a great price in Llandrindod Wells

Gave my food to the wrong person (fair enough, accidents happen), told me to come back 20 minutes later so they could remake it. Came back to be given the luke warm food that had been returned by the prior customer, nothing was fresh/remade, just a poor attempt to reheat the cold chips in the fryer! I stupidly accepted the food due to urgency to get home to the hungry masses.

Visited here for food as we was staying local for a week and fancied a kebab. Lovely service don’t get me wrong. But the food is awful. The kebab was like rubber and had no taste to it at all and the chips were under cooked, they were hard, and it is also way over priced

Always visit Lip Lickin when I'm in town. Can't ever fault these guys for food and service. Great portions and very friendly too. 😊😊😊

1st time visit. Only 4 1/2 stars as i like real chips with my Doner meat, not fries. Will be calling again as enjoyed meal. The Doner meat was as fresh as could be. Little bit more chilli sauce would have been appreciated. Staff friendly and efficient.

£7.90 for a large shish kebab, which was effectively a mountain of food, is good value. The chicken was perfect, but the lamb was a poor cut of meat. Service was good and accommodating.

Ham and pineapple pizza on a bbq base - Noice. Only downside is not having a card machine and short telephone manner. However food is good!

Great welcome as we entered and ordered a lot of food which of course made them happier, after the food was ready they gave us not one but two menus as they wanted us back especially knowing we order a lot. Arrived home 11 miles away to items missing so called them and was told we was lying!! There was no way we was going back for the food and now no way we would ever go back. Ripped off and the food was crap!!!

Good deal promoted, friendly efficient service. Clean establishment, meaty meat was better than chicken and sweetcorn but it lacked a little in flavour but for the price they weren't bad, but would go again for cheap takeaway

Used to be a nice place for a quick take away, now it's dirty, grimey and the staff don't care if they give you what you have ordered or not.

My gf & I had takeaways from here two nights running during a weekend visit to Llandrindod. This surely sums up how much we enjoyed the food we ordered. Night 1; I had a large chicken shish kebab in Nan bread and it was very good My gf had a 9" Margareta pizza and this too was very good. So impressed we went back the next night. I had a 12" Meat Mighty with extra jalapenos and the gf had a 9" Hawaiian. Both pizzas lived up to expectations and I have no problem giving this takeaway 5 stars.

So great pizza from this place bit when I asked for some mayo in a pot to dip it in they bombed me with a pound charge where as if I had had it on top of the pizza no charge absolutely pissed by this

One of the poorest donner kebabs I've ever had. Great pitta, nice salad but the cheapest, budget donner meat ever. The meat was tasteless! Husband had a pizza and said it was lush, great flavour and quality, plentiful toppings. Probably won't eat there again. Just passing through Llandrindod Wells, so won't have to again.

Lip Licking may have a Low Food Hygiene Rating but we have never had a bad meal from there. The staff are very friendly and the food is very nice too!

Sadly they have lost their hygiene rating and are now at Zero. The food was always nice and the staff very friendly but the hygiene rating is a worry.

They have great kabob and I recommend the garlic mayo sauce on top. I find that sometimes they are not there during advertised hours, so maybe call first. Cash only.

This Traditional Kebab shop sells delicious Kebabs and Burgers and Pizzas. It's a real asset to the small town that has no other kebab / Pizza Shop. We will be back soon!
