Brilliant, locally run cafe/library/shop/community space. It's such a welcome change from the usual corporate blandness and the food is local, fresh, reasonably priced and tasty -(best flat white I've ever had). Good parking, dead handy.

I visited here for my 1st wedding anniversary in October 2022, and no other restaurant has come close since. So I took my husband back for his birthday end of November 2024. It did not disappoint! Such exciting flavours, divine ingredients. I hope to return for a third time. You learn so much about food when you visit too! I hope that Gareths drinks team add a Pina Colada to the menu soon!

Have been here probably half a dozen times, it’s never really been great, but local and easy for us to get to. Nice space and conveniently located, good parking etc. Great use of welsh language - ensuring everything is bilingual, this should be applauded. Painfully slow wait - coffees come immediately, but over 30 minutes wait for the food every time, even if it’s just a sandwich, so drinks are cold / consumed by then. Feels overstuffed very often, one taking orders, two behind observing - not really sure if it’s efficiently run, despite most cafe staff there being paid employees and not volunteers. There certainly isn’t a chance of over-enthusiasm by staff sadly. Cake stand poorly filled, only ever a few sad looking items in there. Food wise - some things ok, others overpriced for what you get. The current fundraiser will hopefully help to keep this facility running, but can’t help feel as though there are several very “easy wins” in terms of making it more cost effective and sustainable to be had. Some business thought lacking.

Had a preboooked sunday lunch here with a large number of friends. Food and service were great as usual. They didn't mind us coming in soaked after a long walk, and left us to chill after the meal as well. Recommended.
